Came here the other night for dinner, and the overall experience and food was good.(+) Ambience - cute restaurant.(+) Service - very friendly, attentive.( ) Focaccia - I thought it was okay, but I think the outside could have been a bit more crispy.(+) Porcini and sausage - My favorite pasta of the night, really good flavor. The only issue I had is I think they need to cook the pasta a bit more overall. All of the pastas tasted gummy and still quite doughy.( ) Roman carbonara - It was really interesting eating carbonara with rigatoni pasta. Not necessarily complaining, just an interesting observation. Flavor was good, it was very eggy, but again, the pasta was so doughy and I think needed more time.(+) Short rib ravioli - This was delicious. No notes! Great flavor, short rib was tender, pasta was actually cooked enough.( ) Tiramsu - Tiramisu was just okay, it came in a roll not in a slice, and it was fine. Nothing too standout.Would definitely come here again and try out some other stuff.

Fantastic local Italian in the heart of the gaslamp.
What an amazing dinner we had! We weren’t sure what to expect when we got here, but the servers were so wonderful and helpful! The food was so fresh and delicious! We had 2 pasta dishes and a salad and the tiramisu and it was the right amount for 2 hungry people. A great stop before going to a Padres game. Hope to visit again!

Great hole in the wall spot, which makes for a great cozy and intimate environment over great food.Honestly, everything was great. Ordered the special of the day, which was braised lamb in spaghetti, eggplant parm, bread, spirali in red sauce with shrimp, a tiramisu. Everything was delicious and a must try it in the area.
Go the Tiramisu to go and it was divine. The staff was so nice and they were quick to help us. The Tiramisu was individually made and the perfect little sweet treat.

I don’t know about you but once you have fresh pasta, you can never go back. The food here is absolutely amazing and fresh. Yes, the pasta is fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is modern and clean. The service was great. I look forward to returning.Parking: Parking can be difficult if you don’t live downtown. There are a few paid parking garages nearby if you don’t find street parking. It’s near the Padres stadium, so beware on game days.

Always a solid choice. I had the rigatoni carbonara and my father had the bolognese pappardelle. We shared the rice balls, a great starter. Our waitress had the best suggestions for our wine. Service is always friendly! 10/10
We had a 6:30p reservation. We arrived on time but the restaurant was not prepared. We did not get seated until after 7p and they sat a “walk up” before honoring our reservation. Very disappointing.
