Why people eat at this truck is a mystery, surf & turf at Naval Medical Center Balboa. Burrito had little flavor, the chicken was possibly the lowest quality I’ve EVER eaten, dark meat with gristle, simply terrible. The fried fish in the fish taco was so oily, the oil squeezed out when bitten into and the oil is all you tasted, threw them away after attempting 2 bites, it was that bad. We would give them 0 stars if possible, they don’t deserve to stay in business.

We were at Miramar air show today. I purchased the burrito 21 dollars , my husband purchased the three tacos 21 dollars and my daughter selected the quesadilla 12 dollars . We also purchased 3 drinks, 5 dollars each. My husband asked for a receipt but his request was ignored by the person who collected the money. My husband was charged on his credit card 78 dollars. We sat down to eat the food as we watched the air show. Unfortunately the tacos were not seasoned well, the meat was not well cooked, the portions were very small. My burrito was dry, had very small amount of meat and it was wrapped sloppily. My daughter said her food was acceptable . My husband threw all three tacos, I ate 1/3 of the burrito and then had to discarded it. My daughter finished her most of her quesadilla. The bottled drinks were very good but the food itself was definitely not worth 78 dollars. We were still wondering why the extra charge on the credit card. It was one of worst food experience we had. Definitely not worth purchasing food from this food truck

Worse food truck in San Diego. They’re on base and people only buy form them out of desperation. Nothing is ever fresh. Don’t buy unless your ok with mud butt and barffing after.

I'm from San diego so I have had a lot of carne asada burritos. The base food truck burrito sucked was full of rice about 80/20 rice/ carne for 10 dollars. I don't recommend.
This was the worst carne asada burrito I have ever had. First they were on ticket 96 and I had 91. The burrito was thrown together mad up mostly of beens and rice. I do not think the meat was even carne asada. Sad day for mobile food trucks. I will never try this truck again. I forgot to mention there was another customer that was skipped before me. I am going to look into the arrangement they have with the military because they might be taking advantage of the military personnel.
