Moonshine Flats is my favorite place to go out downtown! The live music is awesome, the staff is so friendly and very accommodating! Hannah the entertainment manager is the best and always makes occasions (like my birthday) extra special!

Honestly, the place is fantastic. The only reason it has 2 starts for me, is not because of the place itself, but the people. If you like partner dancing and you are expecting to go to this country bar to dance, you are in for a massive disappointment. People just stand on the dance floor listening to the band they have that night. Not a single person there dances and all of them cram the dance floor to where it doesn’t allow anyone to dance either. If you enjoy country, you want some live performance , drinks and a good environment, definitely 5 stars. But if you’re trying to go out country dancing , do not waste your time paying for the cover to get in.
Extra points for the whole barber chair tricks they do. People can pay for getting shots while laying on a spinning chair while the ladies get on top of the chair and spin it. It’s honestly really cool to watch!

The line dancing is great. The venue is large and offers a bit of variety between the Deck and the dance hall.
Plenty of bars to order a drink from, so you'll never be empty handed.
Staff is friendly. It's my spot.

Been coming here for 10 years on and off. For a Friday night was the quietest I've seen it and we weren't allowed upstairs. Only place really like it in SD just watch out for the younger had too many by 10 pm drink spillers and you should have an ok time.

Lotsa fun! 🤩 We were in town and this place was HIGHLY suggested. We saw JT Harker, he was alright, but the place was AWESOME!
This place would get a 5 stars if they didn’t charge to get in.
I paid $10 to get in and my friends paid $20 later on.

They lied about timing closing kitchen, they said would close at 10:30 (when inviting us to pay cover of 40 bucks per person inside in New Year’s Eve, because we specifically ask for food), inside at 9:35 they said would close in 20 (around 10 PM), then at 9:43 tried to order a snack and they said “no! I told you no more food after 9:45” (which is a lie!!). So, a friend bought a hot dog out side and they didn’t allow him to get it inside a VERY rude way… ALSO NO GOOD FOR VEGETARIAN I order a loaded nachos that DIDNT SAY has chicken and they gave it WITH chicken when i Don’t eat meat
