This latte was so unbelievably mid, I deeply regret the $8 I spent on this. The menu describes a Bibingka Crème Brûlée with “house vanilla syrup | toasted coconut powder | milk infused with philippine coconut and vanilla bean”. What I got was plain espresso with whole milk, a pump of monin vanilla, and nothing even remotely resembling coconut or infusion. The creme brulee was just sad, the sugar was not melted at all on the sides and completely burnt in the middle. I asked the barista to torch it a bit more so it actually turns into a brulee, and she tried to tell me that it is supposed to be grainy and crunchy like that 😭

This location is NOT the place to visit if you want to experience Mostra coffee. Do yourself a favor and check out the one in Carmel Mountain. The staff at this location is not welcoming at all and the coffee quality is so far below what you will experience at the other locations. I dont know what going on with this spot in 4s, but Mostra help them be more like Carmel Mountain with quality Maybe more training and customer service awareness?

Over priced for such a small amount. We will never go back.

Been a Mostra customer long before this location opened. Used to frequent the Carmel valley location and was beyond excited when this 4s location opened up as I lived right nearby.

When first opened it was a solid 5/5. Staff, clean, great drinks.
Some time back something changed (maybe ownership) and everything has gone downhill.
Drinks are mid at best. They are always short on pastry’s/options. They are constantly out of certain menu items. Bathroom is filthy.
Still better then Starbucks but is sad to see such a great place get worse and worse with time. I wouldn’t bother making the trip.

Cute and friendly but the food is very low quality. Like rubbish croissants and dry muffins from Vons expired products section. Nothing fresh. Very disappointing.

I am a Starbucks club card member, purely because of the convenience. But put a Cortado made by Starbucks and a Cortado made by Mostra and the difference is night and day! Pure delight, and an everyday essential for me. I am from India, and I can assure that this is a great American replacement (not an equivalent) for a south Indian coffee.

The waiters are caring as well, and I appreciate their latte art. I do wish Mostra made its app experience better, (hence the 4 stars for Service) I understand its easier said than done, given the size of the company itself, in comparison to Starbucks.

Don’t order the matcha. The sugar is part of the powder and it’s soooo sweet. Very low quality and tastes bad

Literally terrible customer service. Nobody smiled and all looked like they hate their jobs. Employee tossed my food on the table towards me instead of just handing it to me. Not good vibes at all.

Went here for the first time Sunday 18 August since they have been advertising Cars & Coffee Car Shows 9-11AM that Sunday and monthly.

I showed up with my 54 Chevy, waited 20 minutes for other cars to show up but there were none.

Went in to get a black coffee, they gave it to me free since I was a Veteran.

Service: OUTSTANDING

Black Coffee:Mediocre at best

We won’t be back.

Not to be dramatic, but I popped in here while visiting friends in SD from SF for my normal chai latte order. It was The Best to go chai latte I’ve had to date. I refuse to go to Starbucks as theirs is a sugary mess. I enjoy chai tea because of its flavorful spices mixture. However even with good chai I usually have to order it with extra chai because they are made more like steamed milk with a pinch of chai. Not the case here! I mentioned to the friendly staff that I loved their chai. They smiled and said thank you, we make it fresh every morning. Kudos! I very much appreciate the effort and can’t wait to come back to visit and have another.
