Disappointing experience. The service was unwelcoming, and I got a different size than what I ordered. Not what I was hoping for.

Their coffee/lattes are good! I don’t recommend the iced matcha latte they’re advertising in store. As I was walking in, I see a guy holding one that had a nice green color! It looked good & made me wanna order one instead of coffee, but mine came out different for some reason :( Just tasted like milk, ended up having to add more matcha powder myself haha

This is my bf's favorite place. I think their coffee drinks are really good! This time, I got the bibingka creme brulee latte 😋 The wonderful baristas torch sugar on top and it's amazing! I asked about things being gluten free and they kindly (a bit annoyed, sorry to ask) asked the manager. I'm happy to report the bibingka, creme brulee, and ube lattes are gluten free! It would be awesome if they put that on the menu. All celiacs are looking for that little GF sign and since they have gluten-free pastries, I thought they obviously know people are looking for it :) Definitely recommend and coming back!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could lol.

The original Mostra location was great, this one and the one by Del Sur are so terrible, management needs to consider going in and retraining. The first time I went to the del sur location, they made me a matcha so milky it was almost white, when I pointed this out they said they put the “right” amount of matcha powder in so that’s what it’s supposed to look like.
So I asked them if they could remake it, he replied that he was busy and he could add more powder; this guy added matcha powder on top of my ICED drink and stirred it in. A cup of milk with matcha chunks, exactly what I wanted, thanks.

Today, I decide to give it another shot. I walk in, 5:01, I understand they close at 5 so in any other circumstance, I wouldn’t even go in. But the coffee shop is packed and the door is open. I walk in to 3 baristas standing behind the counter, literally making coffees (for themselves?) and am told loudly in front of a packed coffee shop “nnnhiii nnsoorry, we’re clooosed, nnnyeaaah”

Like really, one iced drink in a shop full of people while you’re making your own coffees wouldn’t have killed you. The customer service is just terrible. I’d rather have the crappy taste of Starbucks then deal with the staff at this place.

Mostra Coffee in Carmel Mountain is such a chill and inviting spot. The space is clean, well stocked, and has a moody vibe that feels intentional. The lighting is cozy and the noise level is comfortable enough for real conversations. Our group ordered the Crème Brûlée Latte, Ube Crème Brûlée, Iced Camp Fired, and Salted Caramel Latte. The drinks were beautifully presented with latte art and small ice, and everyone loved their flavors. Service was great. The barista was patient and kind, especially when explaining drinks to my niece. The rustic black wall aesthetic keeps the focus on the people you are with. It is family friendly for quick visits, though not really a place for kids to hang out. Overall, this is one of my favorite coffee spots in San Diego and I always bring visiting friends here.

Really good coffee love their crushed ice w/iced vanilla lattes, cool spot to lock in and work, anytime I’m in the area I’ll be going.

first and last time here. i was excited to discover a new coffee shop. we got two drip coffees and a croissant. all were mediocre at best. cost 17.50 which is insane and i go to specialty coffee shops every day. beyond the mediocre coffee, the bathrooms were disgusting. we came at 8:30 on a saturday morning. there is no reason a bathroom at a place that costs this much should look like this. i am appalled. i was so tempted to ask for our money back and return the stuff after a bite and a sip but my husband convinced me not to. sorry but will not come back here.

2 Baristas were incredibly rude and had an attitude when I was ordering. Regret coming here to study. Tight spaces, loud and wifi went out.

Fabulous place, with a great team, who were knowledgeable and helpful. It was especially great to connect with Michael, great service!

The coffee is on point! We visited from the UK and we're looked after so well. My wife who generally doesn't do coffee, loved the creme brulee latte! I think I tried most of the piurnovers available, and all we're greatbtasting.

Fully recommend!

Great coffee ☕️ just little to sour (coffee should be done within 25 - 30 seconds) 🧐

I love coming to this location especially being near the freeway. Coffee incredible, vibes immaculate, and baristas are nice. I felt bad today before going to church there was a lot of customers and only 2 baristas and you can tell they were doing their best and looked tired. But they were so nice dispite the rush. The guy with the bun and glasses and the girl with low space buns, pretty eyes, and such a a sweet smile, of y’all see this, you guys did amazing and I appreciate you both

Terrible vibe here. The staff made it feel like customers were a bother. From the guy taking orders (rude as hell) to the barista shooting daggers at people walking in — message received! Won’t be back.
