First time here. I just wanted a little something for my afternoon. Beautiful space and atmosphere, I got an Iced Chai Latte, it was just extremely sweet. I honestly had to dump the drink. The worst Chai latte, it's very disappointing all the amount of sweetness on a drink.

Cute little coffee shop with a solid outdoor vibe. We typically stop here at the end of the farmer's market. Folks are friendly but a little standoff-ish at first. Probably due to the wandering crazy folks that wander around the 'hood. But it's a cute little joint on the corner of the building.

Bonus points for being Filipino owned. This coffee franchise continues to grow in San Diego and I have to say they are one of my favorites! Their signature drinks are based off flavors familiar to the Filipino culture such as Turon & Ube. Prices are a little high for coffee in my opinion ($7 for a latte) but I do think the flavors make up for it. If you're here try the choconana. Coffee and banana sounds weird together but you won't be disappointed! Came in today to buy coffee beans and was surprised to get a free house cold brew with it!

A wonderful neighborhood spot within the corner of the Evoc building. The space is pleasant and bright, and the staff are so kind!

Amazing coffee and great service! Also the place itself is really cool to hang out. Go check it out and enjoy some great coffee options!

The food was bomb. Ordered a guava cheese danish, one Brazilian coconuts and a campfire coffee. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance is beautiful here.

Great spot! I’m a sucker for the campfire latte. Love the graham cracker and honey combo they sprinkle on top and the presentation of it is amazing!

You have to treat yourself to chaggachino. It’s a wellness mushroom latte basically and it is wonderful ?????? Not really a sweet drink, but the flavor is full and rich. If you want a sweet drink, try their Vietnamese or their 3 kinds of year-round brûlée lattes. So good. My go-to sweet drink is a Yeti quad shot. It hits my brain just the way I like it, a pounding of sugar-rush + slap of caffeine = happy me. The Yeti and Ube Latte are my go to’s when I’m feel down like a warm ice cream on these chilly days. Also, I would advise you get a butter croissant, but then there would be less for me. That’s actually my only complaint. It’s hard for them to keep drinks and foods in stock. ??‍♀️ if you get a chance, try their ube and cowboy cookies are to so decadent. They taste kinda mischievous in a way too like they would satisfy a child’s insatiable sweet tooth and I feel naughty using my adult money to buy it. Still, the butter croissant is is to die for. Literally. Im sensitive to gluten and I still choose to just suffer with the consequences because it’s that good.I work right around the corner at a non-profit and I absolutely love the gang at Monstra Hillcrest. On Fridays, I go to a recurring meeting in Banker’s Hill and there’s a closer Monstra there, but I still go the one in Hillcrest, because they’re just that amazing. I miss R. They recently moved on to the next chapter of their life. She brought an amazingly kind and chill vibe to the place. *abrazos*Go spend your adult money here.

I purchased a bag of whole Ghost Bear beans. I have been making hot Americano with these beans for the past several days at home and really enjoy the smooth flavor. It's also delicious in an espresso martini. This location is bright and the service was welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be adding Mostra to my coffee bean rotation. I have two other favorites and Mostra is a nice change.

My husband is a major coffee lover and we've been scouring San Diego in search of the best beans to roast at home. He has decided that Mostra beans are hands-down the best! Son of a Ghost Bear is his favorite. I love that they offer a $1 off speciality drinks when you purchase a bag so I get to benefit by getting a discount on my matcha. I love this little location. It's perfect because it's in central San Diego and easy to get to. There's a lot of parking on the streets around it (especially if it's not Sunday when the farmers market is taking place). There's limited seating inside but a larger area to sit outside. Service was super friendly and wonderful!

They told me the ingredients for the latte I paid for was out, so they offered me another latte instead. Well, the latte I received was cheaper than the latte I paid for. They could have offered me something extra to compensate me for the difference. Nonetheless I just wanted to try this place for their unique flavors but it’s overpriced and I wouldn’t return.

Much closer location to me to get some of my favorite coffee. The brûlée drinks are always fun but my favorite is still the banana milk choconana cold brew drink. I gave the chagachino a try and it was good similar to coffee but quite sweet. Also tried a one cookie which was a variation of an oatmeal cookie but quite tasty.

Amazing coffee shop! Truly great baristas who know what they're doing. Only place I'll go outside my home (I have an espresso machine).

Finally, my search for quality unsweetened matcha lattes in SD is over! If you're a matcha fan you won't be disappointed.Update 12/17: Brought my review down from 5 to 3 stars. I was told today that it wasn't possible to get the matcha latte without added sugar, but I swear the last time I went in July I was able to get it unsweetened. I went ahead with the order anyway and it was way sweeter than I'm used to. It's a bummer that I can't get them without sugar anymore since I vastly prefer consuming matcha that way as adding this amount of sugar ruins the drink for me.
