Its small and by the beach. They play music and have pool tables. I wouldn't recommend for sports watching as the music overpowers all the sports playing.

Was in the area for lunch and stumbled upon this gem. The tavern itself is pretty big inside with a ton of TV's, I asked the hostess when they closed on weekends and she said 1:30am - that's awesome. The beer list was solid, if you like IPA's the Society Pupil was very good. I got a bacon cheeseburger which was extremely filling and tasty. I'll definitely be back soon, fun spot!

Awesome, wonderful staff. Great food! I mean really fackin' good! Friendly, fun clientele. A lovely venue. They have really good live music and a great atmosphere. It has become one of my favourite places.

Today I went here for my birthday. I have a St. Patrick's Day birthday. Came from out of town and googled a location that was celebrating. Upon arriving no one was at the door. Went inside. Sat at a table. No one greeted us. This guy with a security shirt comes to our table after 10 mins to check IDs. I tell him I would like to order food gives my friend and I a menu then says if you want anything go up to the bar and order the food and drinks. As the bar is packed. And the location has at least 30 tables between inside and outside. So I'm confused why there are no servers. We end up ordering an uber and heading back to our hotel who has a restaurant and service was 1000% better where we should went from the start. Security shirt guy short, Caucasian was not friendly and was behind the bar. As someone who work at a Security Private School and BSIS approve security guards are not to be employed as bartenders and security guards.
Been going to the businesses that have occupied this building when it was the best ! Most shadiest most do whatever you want dream street!!.. chillin in the vip lounge in those gross couches I def contributed to them getting that way haha had some of the best times of my Life there for sure .. so I tend to support whatever ends up being there….

As a couple visiting from Colorado, we couldn’t have found a better local gem than Northside Tavern. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed like old friends, and a huge shoutout goes to Sabrina, the incredible bartender who made our night! She was not only super friendly and attentive but also had great recommendations and made us feel like true locals.
