Mr. Moto Pizza - Pacific Beach

We are PB locals and ordered for the first time from Mr Moto Pizza.
We order delivery and ordered a large wave Pizza, and medium Smokey greens Pizza.
The large wave pizza was undercooked on the bottom and it was squishy and mushy and entirely inedible. The medium Smoky greens pizza was missing the glaze on top.
We tried to contact Mr Moto Pizza to see if we can actually have them redelivered, but there is nobody to speak to, as their phone system is extremely frustrating and you cannot speak to a live person.

Got a slice of the truffle buratta and it was amazing! Have not had a slice this delicious in a long time! Definitely going back!

Pizza is OK but don’t bother ordering garlic knots with a delivery order because they never seem to include them. It’s happened 3 times in a row so it feels intentional at this point.

Horrible experience, went here on my 30 min lunch break, the lady that was working there on Thursday around 3 pm took my order, I got 2 slices she said she would bring it to my table so I took a seat and waited and waited and waited after what felt like 30 min I went to go check what was going on. It seem like the lady that took my order and the cook were talking in the back the cook noticed me and let her know. She came and said she forgot and the my pizza got burnt but then she started blaming it on the oven. She proceeded to get 2 new slices from the display shelf , but I told her I couldn’t wait anymore and asked for a refund. My lunch break was wasted and I was left starving, Ian still expecting my refund in the next couple days if I don’t receive I will be back here to to write another review.

We went into the PB location to get some slices for lunch. When we looked at the selection they had, almost every pizza had flies on them. We turned around and left.

One of the best pizza places in Pacific Beach! Vegetarian options are available. Mission Boulevard or Mamma Moto are my favorites there!

Oh man, has this place really gone downhill. super sad. Service is super bad now, I miss the old moto crew. Prices have gone up and now they have started charging for sauces. 0.75/each.

Really great, friendly service. The pizza was good. Not a ton of toppings. The sauce and meatballs had good flavors. You can purchase pizza by the slice. Restaurant could be cleaner.

Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free crust, which was a medium. Much larger than normal.

Parking: Hit and miss on parking.

Walked in for a to go order no one acknowledged me the entire time. Stood at the register and still no one acknowledged me so I sat down. Then they put my order on the warmer not even asking me what I’m here for, and say they failed to Then watched the staff the girls doing toppings are wearing the same gloves while touching face, hair and cleaning rags/ buckets. Never seen them change gloves. I’m disgusted.

Super friendly, service oriented, and amazing pizza! We loved the all meat and their special of the month with chorizo and jalapeño! Went twice in one week!

Maybe it was our fault coming an hour before close on a Sunday. The workers refused to make more pizza. Even stated that no whole pizzas are being made. While they continued to make what I believe was ordered out or delivery pizzas. The workers did not have good communication or customer service. I've had better pizza and better interactions at LITTLE CAESARS.

The wings tasted like pre-cooked oven wings. Spent of $60 for poor quality pizza. Definitely skip this place if you care about the quality. Was also not a quick turn around to get pizza reheated.

I ordered a pizza and garlic knots through their website.

Big mistake.

It took over an hour for the order to be picked up, and then I got a notification that the restaurant passed the order off to Uber eats. The Uber driver first tried to deliver the order to the wrong address, then called saying I had changed the address (I didn’t), then hung up on me. I couldn’t even check what was wrong because I did not place the order through Uber eats.

To add insult to injury, when the Uber driver finally did deliver the pizza, the garlic knots I ordered were missing.

When I called the restaurant, I got halfway through saying, “Hi, placed an order for delivery” before the host interrupted me and pretended to put me on hold.

Not only did the food take close to three hours to arrive, and not only was the order incomplete, but I couldn’t even send a complaint through Uber because I did not place the order through Uber eats.

I also could not receive a refund for missing garlic knots and a pizza I am hesitant to eat given its unknowable journey here.

If you are hoping to simply place an order for pizza on a Friday night and enjoy yourself, try Pizza Hut instead.
