Mr. Moto Pizza - Point Loma

This pizza was very delicious and flavorful! The reason why we took a star away was because we waited over 45 minutes for our buffalo chicken wings. This was on Saturday 03/15/25 around 8pm so we were there waiting till their closing time. They gave us 6 extra wings to compensate, so that was considerate. The ambiance and music is good too!

Don’t bother trying to order a full regular priced pizza during free pizza night. And especially don’t tip if you do. This place doesn’t care if you are paying or just here to get a free pizza…….they put us in line with everyone. Even after I showed them their own email telling me my pizzas should have been ready 30 minutes ago. Worst manager ever! And I own my own pizza joint!

I came on the free pizza Monday to get a pizza and a bread twist. However they gave us the wrong pizza(pepperoni instead of chicken, despite our say that we strongly dislike pepperoni), refused to give us what we ordered, and despite running out of bread twists and as a result us not getting any nor a substute, they still charged us for the twists. All of this and a line that took roughly an hour to wait in. Adding on to the fact that the cut of the pizza was horrible, uneven, and jagged. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great food, awful service.

Been going to this location for 3 years and the wait time for take out orders has been horrible. It’s never ready on time, minimum 5-10 minute wait past what the confirmation says. Yes, delays happen from time to time. But tonight I had to wait 37 minutes passed the confirmation time.

When I went to grab my order, they scrolled the screen for my order, found my name and handed me a pizza. I also ordered a pasta and extra sauces and when I asked about that I received a blank stare. They went back to the screen and said oh… yeah. That will be 10 minutes. 35 minutes later after going back up a second time to ask on an update they gave me a bag with the pasta and the pizzas. No sauces.

You need to train your staff to read and confirm the whole order and either adjust the pickup times or allow them to edit based on how busy the restaurant is.

Mama Moto slice was great
the furious Diablo slice was good but didn’t have enough chicken, out of the 3 slices we tired this one had the best taste.
pepperoni slice was very greasy, but other wise good taste.

Needed quick yummy pizza. Mr Moto was it! So nice to have many great slice options. Caesar salad dressing was great.

Ordered the food online, and the pepperoni pizza and garlic knots were very good.

However, I took a bite of the tiramisu and it tasted sour. After a closer look I saw bits of mold on top. Very unacceptable quality and a health concern!

Our first time at Mr. Moto Pizza and we were so disappointed. We ordered using the app and set a pick up time at 6:30pm. My husband got to the store at 6:30 for pick up and nothing was ready. He then waiting until 7:05 for them to finally have what we thought was our order ready. Thank goodness he checked it because they were missing two of our items. He went back in for the missing salad and knots from our family meal deal that then took another 30 minutes to make. He didn’t get all the food from our 6:30 pick up until 7:30. By the time he was home with our food the pizza, wings, and pasta were completely cold because he had to wait another half an hour after receiving that food for our missing items. Workers didn’t seem to care at all, and there was another woman there with her kids that had also set a pickup time for 6:30 and didn’t receive her items until 7:30. Getting food out is so expensive now, I feel I completely wasted my money on this food.

Review would be higher but take out service had very little management/ organization. Lots of people including myself where waiting for 20 + minutes for orders to be processed, despite the pizzas being ready to go.
