A few days ago, we decided to visit Mr. Shawarma in Pacific Beach after reading very positive Google reviews. We started our day with a walk on the boardwalk, covering about a mile, and then headed towards the restaurant.
However, as we approached Mr. Shawarma, we were immediately put off by a large trashcan that was overturned on the sidewalk directly in front of the restaurant. This sight was quite unappealing and gave us a negative first impression. And then, as we looked at the restaurant itself, it didn’t look too inviting. Cleanliness is crucial for any business, especially a restaurant, and this initial encounter made us reconsider our choice.
Based on this quick first impression or first sight, we decided not to have lunch at Mr. Shawarma and went somewhere else instead.
First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one was not favorable.

Great spot for a lunch date! Portions are great for the price! Highly recommend this place, it is pretty close to the beach too which is very convenient! Staff is very friendly and personable (:

Disrespectful place,watch out !!! If you want dignity, do not call them over the phone!!! They hang up on me for no reason, I have a record line, it took 28 seconds for the call and a lady hang up on my face !!!!!!!!!! That’s disrespectful!!!!!!!!!
