Great hole in the wall for takeout. Decent portions, saucy entrees, not too pricey. Service was friendly. Now that I know they have lunch specials, I’ll be going back.

If you're looking for the budget hole-in-the-wall authentic Chinese spot, you've found it. Mr. Spicy sure surprised me!The atmosphere takes you right back to the year 2001, and honestly so do the prices. Each plate could serve a family of 2-3 comfortably and they each cost ~$10. A serving of white rice is $0.80. My partner and I sampled a couple plates and have plenty of leftovers. The mango chicken was pretty good. The "small" egg drop soup was enormous. Spicy chicken was delicious. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Good Chinese food with reasonable price. Nice people, too.

Waited 20 minutes for the cook to come in and start making the food. General Tso's chicken was very disappointing. It should be sweet and sour, unfortunately there was only a salty flavor, nothing else.

Easily the best Chinese food I have had in San Diego thus far. The dishes are clearly authentic, and it is cool to always see the same couple working the front and back of house everyday. Prices are also extremely low for the portion sizes!

2 times we did a big order to go and both times it was hot and tasty. Will return to this mom and pop place lots!

Food here was average. My bf said it’s better then the one inside the IKEA plaza. Plus prices here are fairly cheap. Tots with tip came out to be $40.This place only accepts take out and no dine in. There’s a sign that says “This restaurant only has one waitress and her English is not perfect”.The menu that you see on line is the same menu as their printed take out menu.We got orange chicken, garlic wings, onion pancake and house special fried rice. The onion pancake came in 7 slices. The garlic wings was a bit oily, orange chicken had too much flour, house fried rice was decent. Bf said it needed more flavor but I thought it tasted more like home made. We both have different tastes. He said it’s better than the other place. For me, I would stick to Panda Express.

Fast Chinese food at reasonable prices. I love their spring rolls. Tonight I ordered the Szechuan eggplant which I told them to dial down the spice level. It was delicious, (little heavy on the oil) but I can’t imagine full heat. I wouldn’t have any lips left. Remember to order white rice in addition to entrees as they don’t come with.
