Mystic mocha is an eclectic little corner coffee shop on a residential street in University Heights. The breakfast sandwich is amazing (but we do prefer it made on a bagel - you can ask for a sub) as are the breakfast tacos. I also really like the chai latte, which is not too sweet. Counter staff are always friendly. Beware though, that the pastries/donuts are made with dietary restrictions in mind, and taste like it.

Ordered two coffees at midday Sunday. Very relaxed vibe. Found great parking (residential area). Great place to while away as the coffee drenches the palate.Parking: Depending on the time the day asking can be complicated.

The best drip coffee in the area. Finally, I found somewhere to get a full-bodied drip coffee! Most drip Java in San Diego is fruity with sour notes. This little coffee shop stands out. They seem too small to have a kitchen, but this wedged shaped building has a lot. Coffee, pastries, food, roasted beans, loose-leaf teas, and merch everything you might need.I will be back!

This is my favorite place in town for coffee and studying. The service is great and all the staff is super friendly. The menu is extensive, and I get a different fun coffee every time I go.

I love Mystic Mocha! It's a cozy spot in University Heights, and the staff is always super friendly. Bonus points for having dog treats - my pup appreciates it! As a black coffee enthusiast, I'm hooked on their strong and delicious brew. The $2.35 price tag for a hot cup is a steal in the neighborhood. The punch card for a free coffee on the 9th purchase is a nice touch. Haven't tried the food yet, but those breakfast tacos I saw today looked tempting. Can't wait to update my review after a taste test!

What a hidden gem! My latte (The Valkyrie) was delicious and light without being too sweet. I love banana but am always worried it will be artificial - it was perfect! Cute place with intriguing vegan and non vegan food options.

My favorite coffee shop not only for coffee, but the best breakfast food (especially their breakfast tacos and sandwiches) and just an overall great vibe :) the workers and owner are super friendly!

This is my favorite spot for coffee, ambience, and vegan food. The people are down to earth, warm, and authentic... Coffee recipes are unique and delicious, and vegan options are amazing. I want to try everything on the menu but so far the sorizo burrito and franky four fingers latte is high up on the list.
