Natural Style Chicken

I've been coming here for at least 35 years. I've always gotten #11 teriyaki chicken extra sauce to go. I can easily get two meals with the amount of chicken. For those who are complaining about the charge for extra sauce. buy the LARGE and take the rest home! They make the teriyaki sauce in house. Does anyone think the ingredients are free? EVERYTHING IS SAN DIEGO has gone up. Yes the salad is old school. But it's fresh AND crisp! Yes, it's hard to find good help. I come for the#11. And it is🔥! I could go on debating the naysayers. I think after 35 years of just getting the #11 with the same quality & consistency, I'm going to try the beef!
Give your stomach a treat and try this place!

100 degrees inside the place. Bad attitude from workers, didn't put even close to enough dressing and then wanted to charge for a little bit more. 3 woman standing around laughing and talking, but can't take care of the customer properly. Definitely spending my money somewhere else now. Place has gone down hill over the last few years. Been going for 20 years, but not anymore. Plenty of places that would love my business. It's sad it's become one of those places I won't recommend anymore.

Everytime I come here it's always great the chicken or beef is absolutely delicious and the sides are the same. I recommend to anyone wanting to try this place it's priced good and the portions are awesome. I leave stuffed Everytime lol.

God I miss this place. I haven't lived in SD in 15 years and I'm so glad they're still going strong. This was by far the best food for the money that I could ever imagine, I would dearly love to find a spot in Chicago like this.

Prices went up on dishes, which is understandable, but now they charge for teriyaki sauce! Really? Charging extra sauce for teriyaki chicken? On top of that, the small plastic cups aren’t even filled, so you’d need to buy at least 5 just to make the dish enjoyable. Very disappointing after so many years. Nickel-and-diming people over sauce will definitely give people a bad experience and asking for tips with bad service.

Is little place for get great food, the chicken has a very good flavor, the rice has a ginger touch, excellent combination.

Too natural lol. I would recommend more marinade and spices.
However thank you for value reasonable prices and large portions. Double the amount of chicken then other places.
There teriyaki sauce is heavy on soy and watery. I like a thicker more balanced flavor teriyaki sauce.

Called in to place an order and she placed me on hold for 15 minutes , I walk in and see it’s literally two people in there and one already has his food. I go up and show her I’m still on the phone with them waiting and wondering just what is taking so long. She just says sorry I’m busy… no sense of competency in being able to multi task. Just overall confused

I have been coming here for years 25 maybe 30 years and we come multiple times per week. Recently they started charging extra for the teriyaki sauce. I thought I ordered chicken teriyaki. That would require teriyaki sauce. The pour maybe an ounce of it on a huge portion of chicken. To get enough sauce to drown out the plain chicken taste it costs you $4 extra and they give it to you in little tiny plastic containers which is horrible for the environment! Just use your ladle and pour the appropriate and necessary amount of sauce on the plain chicken to make it chicken teriyaki. The service at the counter has gone from lovely to outright rude within 20 days. We drive all the way from Bonita to eat here and it is the principle of the issue not the actual cost. Raise the price by a $1 and do the environment a favor by not contributing to the plastic pollution. This is bad business all the way around. Rude to longtime customers, charge more to actually make your product what you advertise it to be (chicken teriyaki not chicken without sauce) and add to the waste to our planet unnecessarily.
