Naturally Desi Cafe 'n' Catering

I had high expectations from Naturally Desi, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. I specifically called ahead and requested the food to be mild yet what I received was extremely spicy, with a very thin, watery gravy loaded with artificial color. The quality was nowhere near what I expected. For the price they charge, I was hoping for much better. Sadly, I will not be ordering again.

Delhi Tandoori Chaap Sizzler was an absolute delight. Mirchi Bhaji was a true flavor bomb, bursting with spices.
Highly recommend for anyone craving North Indian street food.

Love the pav bhaji and vada pav. Good vibes all around, service was really fast!

Super authentic, delicious Indian food. We stopped in because the nearby gastropub has closed, and we're delighted with the service and food.

We had the lamb curry, chicken dum biryani, and garlic naan, and all were tasty, with large chunks of meat and a nice level of shareable spiciness. My husband also recommends the Taj Mahal lager 22oz. Beer as being refreshing.

Unfortunately, we ate everything before thinking about writing a review, hence the empty plates.

Worst indian restaurant.. don't get confused by names mentioned the menu..they will send whatever that is available and say this is how they make it.
Seriously what's wrong with indian restaurants in San diego..

We visited Naturally desi last night for dinner .. The food was really good .. we really enjoyed the food .. much better than most of the Indian food we have tried in SD . The service was great too .

Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed the ambience

Recommended dishes: Bhatura, Paneer Khurchan Gravy

- pav bhaji - bhaji was just like a thick gravy, not enjoyable.
- pindi chole - chole were under-cooked and very hard, couldn’t eat it at all.
- Amritsary naan - was good, but not cut into the usual four pieces, so it was difficult to share.

Date night and new to the area. Found this restaurant on google. Why not? We went in and it was empty usually not a good sign. However, as we browsed the menu, we noticed that it was a nonstop in and out of people taking takeout bags to go. So we thought the place was pretty good because the people just kept coming and leaving and coming and leaving so we sat down look at the menu some more and decided on our dishes.The interior design I will say it’s a eclectic. I don’t think it’s authentic however it is pretty cozy and interesting inside love the fact that the waiter is part of a family that owns this place and really went over the menu in detail.We decided on butter chicken, some vegetarian curry dish, and it all came out beautiful and it was very delicious and sidenote, quite reasonable as far as prices concerned Gonna make this and you take out place for us However there is plenty of room in the dining room to accommodate large groups, small groups and they even have a kids menu so don’t be afraid to bring the whole family. The owners are very nice and if you have any questions they are ready to answer it give it a shot. Let me know what you think.

I went down to this place, and based on the reviews, I ordered Vada pav and samosa from this place...Vadapav was bland... By no way, they were anywhere close to being authentic. There was no taste other than salt, very disappointed. Samosas were strictly ok.

Your menu has items that go well with chai. But your chai availability is so uncertain. That’s quite disappointing. Either have free one available all the time OR just charge for it. Please give me an option to always have it and don’t make it a surprise. I don’t know if I can come back with this
