We came here after a movie with our 2 kids and were pleasantly surprised. The kids menu was good for our picky eater with plain pasta AND plain chicken! My other daughter and I ordered rolls that were quick and tasty. She went traditional with a California Roll and I overestimated my ability to handle the jalapeño in the Hamachi roll. Just took them out and it was also delish. Husband got the chicken salad which was reportedly one of the best. Service was quick and good was great!

Ordered the Tiger Roll (“Premium Roll”) and got plastic wrapped shrimp. Completely complacent chef, calling it premium and serving it with plastic on top?

Not coming back.

Extremely overpriced for what it offers. charging 20/roll and sometimes more caught me off guard but I entertained it because it was a special event, but then to tack on a service fee on top of an already overpriced menu was rubbing salt in the wound. It's common in sd for a sushi meal to cost around $100 (for drinks and some rolls) and this meal was 160 with tip, considerably expensive for what was being offered.

server was polite and friendly but my entre wasn't brought to the table until we were all basically done with our food. the quality of the noodles was on par with cheap store bought ramen.

the atmosphere left something to be desired as it played the same handful of 2000's pop songs on repeat.

so in summary: very overpriced, mediocre food, slow service. can't recommend this place in good faith.

Great tasting food . Decent service. Just a bit on the pricier $$ side of things . For a VERY casual atmosphere.
I very often take my family of 5 across multiple restaurants in San Diego . Regularly pay sub 130 for dinner, this place hit the 200 mark.

Mediocre food.
Service was good.
Decor & music is off putting, well too loud for a strip mall sushi joint
Can't say I would go again

Food was great. Loved the outside patio with the table that has a fire pit. All the food was great and portion sizes were decent. Definitely coming back.

We tried the popcorn shrimp and they were absolutely delicious

Very good place, delicious food and amazing atmosphere. Their wagyu nigiri and Udon is quite enjoyable. I actually believe their Udon to be one of the best I've had as of recent, their sushi is what you expect from a sushi spot but their wagyu sushi is very juicy and savory and pleasantly unique texture for those new to it. Their drinks are great and this restaurant is home to a very crisp Sapporo which I can enjoyed greatly.

The food is over priced and very bland and tasteless but the service is great. They spell all their krab dishes with a K no matter if it meat is imitation or not. So ask if you're allergic to fake krab.

AVOID if gluten sensitive or Celiac for sure. If your menu says “crab,” Crab”, or “Crab meat…” we expect it means it’s actually crab. From the animal called crab. Not white fish, gluten, and fake flavors combined to make “imitation crab,” or “Krab,” the common moniker for imitation, not real crab. The fact that it requires many questions to learn this, and that they use, “50% crab…”??? It means they maybe mix some actual crab with the fake Krab to stuff your roll. Even the roll with “crab meat” is actually fake Krab.
