Host at the front flat out rude/ mean for no reason. Trying to order a drink at the bar it’s a tight space, and a waitress trying to walk by instead of politely asking to walk through just gave attitude not even an excuse me/please. If this is the vibe before even fully walking in no thank you.

Loved the atmosphere for date night. We got served quickly despite the busy night. Our drinks were a bit too sweet to drink a full drink, but I know if we asked they would have dialed it back on the sugar next time and nailed it. Seems like it could be a fun place to meet people too - pretty social all around based on the amount of standing room. Get on the list for the speakeasy in the back when you arrive if it’s a weened and they aren’t taking reservations in advance. Would definitely go back for another date night or with friends.

Drinks were excellent but the music was so loud I couldn't hear the staff. Noise level made it difficult to communicate. Fun place otherwise. I'd asked for something specific and got essentially a mojito for my first drink, tasty, but unremarkable. My second drink was fantastic, loved the combination. Much more example of what I expected here.

This is a must for any cocktail enthusiast who is visiting San Diego. There is no menu, the expert mixologists come from behind the bar and ask you about what your individual tastes are. They then go away and create a cocktail that meets your desires. You only get about an hour to spend with them so I was able to squeak in a third round. They nailed it on the first round and for the next 2 rounds I said “same but different” :) the next 2 rounds where exactly that, same but different and equally as delicious and balanced. What a vibe that place has as well. Check it out!
No food! But waitress was a bit in a rush with our order and expected us to know how how and what to order. This was my second time here and the first time was amazing! Ambiance is beautiful. It was just one server who was not the nicest but overall great.
I wasn't expecting to be disappointed but unfortunately, was quite a bit. The lack of menu I'm used to from other speakeasy's, but sadly our bartender didn't listen to our requests- for instance my friend asked for a floral/cucumber something, and she was essentially given a lemon drop. When she noted she didn't want a citrus drink, the bartender told her, “well all floral has lemon.” Excuse me but floral means the same as citrus lemon? Then our last round that bartender passed us off to another bartender, who ended up giving me the SAME DRINK I had been given initially because he didn't ask what I previously was given and didn't discuss ideas before mixing something. And to add insult to injury, it was initially a drink I said I knew (a last word) but didn't love so would prefer something else. Won't be going back here.
I ordered a Caballo Blanco drink but it was supet weak and too sweet. Wrong porstions. Bar tender saw me order and extra shot of Don Fulano and saw me pour it into my drink (clear signal) and didn't even bother to ask if liked my drink. Been comings here for almost 10 years and drinks are becoming below average for the most. I live across the street and I now prefer the drinks from other bars because of how week the drinks have been lately. Music level is too high at the main bar (Neighborhood).
The decore of this place is pretty cool. Except for the zebra printed curtain for a door (definitely an afterthought). The drinks were okay, and the service was good. This place could definitely use a dress code to help make it feel more exclusive and high-class. Overall, would go again if in the mood for an overpriced cocktail.

Love this place. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. I always bring visitors here and it’s a great experience. The vibe is unmatched. The food is great and well priced. Drinks are amazing. The speakeasies are cool too. Highly recommend the short rib. Super tender and full of flavor.

Beautiful, dim, and usually busy since it’s well established with locals. Good drinks and service. Young blood is usually the first speakeasy mentioned to newbies downtown.
