Nekter Juice Bar

I discovered Nekter Juice Bar in La Jolla through my phone search after my office day turned bad while my phone battery reached its final stages. The perfect moment arrived to drink a vitamin C boost because my phone battery had almost died. The Blood Orange Turmeric combination at their juice bar brought me complete mood restoration.

The barista at the juice bar recommended adding ginger to my drink which resulted in a perfect combination that became my new favorite drink since my failed Tropical Punch attempt with jellied mangos at a San Diego juice shop. I am beyond thrilled to have discovered this amazing spot.

We stopped in here around 9 AM to get an açai bowl for breakfast and I am not disappointed in my decision to come here. The location is conveniently located off of the freeway.

When we came in, there was no line and we were able to make our order. I think I ordered the açai super food bowl and the one weird thing was that it had green apples on top, but I was able to substitute those for more blueberries.

My wife got the açai mango bowl and she really liked it. We both added peanut butter to ours, and the staff was super helpful and kind in our experience here.

This was my first time going to a juice bar, and I loved it! The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and comfy. The smoothie was amazing and the acai bowl was off the charts! Fresh ingredients, high in protein, and absolutely delicious. Oh, and SO affordable. Impressed, to say the least.

horrible communication, never got back to me. call them ten times for a job application and nothing. not on the website or even when i went in person to follow up with my resume. dont come here if you want a job, that's for sure.

I usually like sorbet açaí bowls but this place makes the açaí fresh from scratch. It’s good!

The store was didn't have ac, which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't 100°+ in the store, but they have fruit sitting out at room temp with bad fruit on display. They are also poor at using gloves when touching ready to eat foods increasing risk of food illnesses. They also don't seem to have any leadership and so the staff have no idea what they are doing. There is no consistency in their recipes and they also use low quality frozen fruits, which is strange considering where we live.

Not blaming the high-school and college kids working there, but management as a whole.

A Must-Visit Smoothie Spot! 🍓🥤

Stopped in for a smoothie and was so impressed by the quality, taste, and care put into every ingredient! I had a protein smoothie with almond butter, vanilla vegan protein, and their homemade cashew milk — it was creamy, perfectly blended, and super filling. Just what I needed!

My friend had one with homemade strawberry chia jam and couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. Her kids had the strawberry banana burst and loved it too — always a win when the little ones are happy!

Great food and very nice staff.

I'm from out of State. This is a great place and location. Very friendly staff and great service. Definitely recommend.
