Worst customer experience, highly disappointed by Bloomingdale’s and nespresso for the pointless system they have here. I came prepared to purchase sleeves for our company and left with nothing. Thanks

I had to go to Bloomingdale to pick up an order and thought it would be a good idea to stop here quickly since there was only one customer and no line. The other customer was sampling coffee so I tried to just buy some sleeves quickly and leave. The cashier got what I wanted and was ready to check me out but the worker sampling told the cashier to stop helping me because the other customer was before me in line. I waited a couple minutes but I was in a rush and had to leave with nothing.

I’m just baffled by the whole experience and the worker’s pettiness. The cashier was ready to check me out and I would have been out the door by the time the other customer was done sampling. Guess I just have to order online from now on.

The most awkward and uncomfortable customer experience. 2 employees standing around ‘checking people into a virtual queue’ and one person serving. Just lots of customers hanging around confused as to who is next and many people jumping line, going up to the counter only to be told about their strange wait system. Also no idea why they always ask “what brings you in today?” Surely it’s always going to be coffee

For some reason they MUST have someone checking people in and giving out samples even if there are people in line waiting to buy pods. It is 2:00 pm on a Monday there should be no wait just to buy pods. Put more people on and change your management policies!

First visit was great; loved the service and vibe. Second, the taste testing ladies were super nice and friendly, but the male cashier (forgot his name) was very dismissive and barely interacted with me; I needed recommendations and it felt like I was bothering him. Hit or miss depending on the person working that day, I fear :/

Fatal, I just arrived to buy 5 boxes of Diabolo and there is an hour before they close and it turns out that they had already cut off and I couldn't pay in cash.
HORRIBLE THAT THEY DO THIS WITH AN HOUR TO CLOSING

Poor signage - difficult to find. Frustrating to walk all over trying to find this place - why not have a sign immediately upon entering Bloomingdale’s?

Customer service is great - and I get the idea of a ‘tasting’ experience but if I just wanna buy my tried and true coffee pods, having to wait in line behind a gaggle of leisure shoppers who want to taste everything and ask a load of questions is incredibly frustrating. I just left without purchasing anything. I’ll try and buy online instead I guess.

I have the virtue machine. I wanted to taste the new coffee Nepresso fashion valley. They refused to give a sample in hot since prefer hot and not cold. So it looks like they don’t want to sell they are very particular and judgmental. I really wanted to buy some coffee today but unfortunately I was given bad service

I went to the Nespresso in the Bloomingdales (Fashion Valley) I was in line welcomed by Crystal asking if I would like a like a sample. She had this Beautiful smile and genuine hospitality. Bryan, was also Very cheerful, engaging in conversation and helping me with my purchase. Claudia and Karolina were cleaning and organizing and looked up and were so gracious. Perviously shopping at this location Jennifer was Super Amazing!Crystal, Bryan, Jennifer, Claudia and Karolina are Wonderful examples of Excellent customer service! Thank you to this Wonderful staff making my shopping experience a Terrific one! ?

Not a good experience. We have been going to this location for years and always loved it. Not the last time. The lady yelled at us when we asked where is the line! She was like you can stay there (yelling like we are kids!). They are at the 4th floor temporarily and one of the workers is rude. Not coming back and will order online!! Maybe looking into different coffee options.

Bad experience purchasing pods today at the Nespresso boutique on the 3rd floor of Bloomingdale’s. Not sure why the free sample can not have water added like offered at literally every every other nespresso boutique. Instead insisting that the “free” sample can only be an espresso shot and that they are not a coffee shop.I can only assume that no fault of her own, sales associate Dahmar was subjected to inadequate training by Bloomingdale’s or it’s a long standing policy by Nespresso that most employees at other locations chose to ignore. Would not be surprising given that Nespresso’s parent company Nestle has a CEO famously quoted as saying “Water is not a human right.” While minor, I hope other locations in the San Diego service have better sample service in line with other nespresso boutiques or alternatively there’s purchasing the Pete’s pods from Costco.
