Went to a crochet/knitting group event and it was a great experience. Had very tasty non alcoholic beer/Radler. The beer was really good and no buzz, I will go there again! Also, super clean bathrooms, when you don't buzz you realize it even more and appreciate it.

Nice Vienna lager, and great patio.

Disappointed with my experience at New English Brewing. The staff was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, going out of their way to make it clear that families are not truly welcome, despite the establishment advertising itself as family friendly.

Perhaps reflecting on your staff’s behavior would be more productive than alienating patrons.

The beer was meh but the service was truly horrible. I’m shocked based on recent reviews at how awful the service is here that the manager/owner hasn’t purged their staff. Sounds like the staff here needs an attitude adjustment. I will not be a repeat customer.

Came here with two family's and children under
5. Beer was great and initially we all had a great time and were raving about how we should come here more often. Then one of the female servers (Dani) approached us to tell us that our children need to be one on one supervised while inside and not on the outdoor patio area. Also one of the kids took his shoes off which we were advised is not allowed. Never been to a brewery that called themselves children friendly and had someone tell me that. To be clear our children were running around and playing with toys like you would expect from a 5 year old. No tantrums or screaming. They were enjoying themselves and so were we. I felt we kept a close eye on our children the entire time we were there. Then one of the children had the audacity to push his fire truck on the ground inside headed to the outside area and we didn't follow right behind them. We were again admonished for allowing our children to run around unsupervised. Wild. We frequent Alesmith and Harland Brewing in One Paseo and have never been told how to handle our children.
One of the bar tenders (Sean) told us our children were "Out of control" after telling me he didn't have children of his own. My children were happy and playing normally. Nevertheless, New English claims to be children friendly but we had the opposite experience. We thought we found a new brewery to enjoy a nice weekend with our family but after this experience we will be going to our staples Alesmith and Harland. Actually kid friendly establishments.

Unfortunately, my experience with the staff at this establishment was profoundly disappointing and their beer was average at that. Their communication was marked by an air of condescension and arrogance that is entirely unbecoming in a service-oriented environment.

Rather than fostering a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere, the staff’s demeanor bordered on outright snobbery, leaving me to question their commitment to providing a positive experience for paying customers. This level of disregard is unacceptable by any measure, and I would strongly advise against patronizing this business.

Came here tonight with my family and really enjoyed our time at first. Great beer, awesome outdoor area. The staff specifically Danni and Sean were rude and made my family feel very unwelcome on 4 separate occasions. Danni confronted my wife for our 2 year old playing with cars on the ground near our table in an empty warehouse and running outside to play without his shoes on. Pretty minor, age appropriate behaviors. I went to go reconcile the situation with danny in a very respectful manner and even asked if anyone had complained. She answered no one had complained, but she did not like my children's behavior, made no attempt to see eye to eye with me and ultimately would like my family to leave.

Again the bones of the place are great, beer is very outstanding and the outdoor area was the main draw to bring my family; Danni however was judgmental, unempathetic, and so purposefully unpleasant. She spoke to me from our initial interaction as if she was immediately annoyed i brought by family. I've never been treated with anything but kindness and understanding and always try to tip accordingly as a parent with young kids and specifically choose places that are family friendly as New English advertises they are. Harland brewing, Alesmith, Ballast and Gravity Heights have all hosted my family wonderfully on numerous occasions but Danni and Sean at New English Brewing tonight were really really awful and clearly dislike families visiting their establishment.

Take your family to the above spots instead.

I visited New English Brewing with my family, including my young nephews, and left feeling deeply disappointed. We specifically chose this brewery because it claims to be family-friendly, and I intentionally avoid fancier establishments where kids might be seen as a disturbance. However, despite the kids behaving like normal, well-mannered children, we were made to feel unwelcome.

It’s confusing and frustrating that a place marketing itself as family-friendly would seem so upset about the presence of children who weren’t causing any issues. If New English Brewing prefers a certain clientele, they should be upfront about it, rather than alienating families who expect a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I was looking forward to enjoying New English Brewery with my family, but the experience was nothing short of horrible. Despite their 'kid-friendly' claims, it was clear families are not truly welcome here. The staff, particularly Danny, contributed to an unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere that completely ruined our visit. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuinely inclusive and hospitable environment.

Bar tender pushed me out the way from the bar tonight? Gave me no warning that I might have been obstructing other patrons. Regardless of the reason It’s completely unacceptable that anyone from the bar would put their hands on me. This place was terrible.

Great brewery. Chris was a great bartender and had some perfect recommendations for me. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice brewery to chill at with some friends and enjoy some great beer. Lots of good selections too so anyone can find something they enjoy.

Soham Sarda

Not the best host but the beer's good.
