Great spot with outdoor seating for happy hour. Specials are for domestic and well, but had good service

I was staying here with my son and his friend to cheer on another friend at the Brooks XC championship. The hotel is wonderful, with whimsical art, amazing location, and one of the best lobby bars I’ve ever visited. The service was fantastic and the drinks were so, so tasty and really leaned into the holiday vibes. When my wife and I come back to San Diego, we will definitely be back for another stay here!

Expensive but next to the convention center, convenient.
Bad hotel restaurant food (tasteless), and cocktails were too sweet. It's a nope.

I walked passed this restaurant in two different days in a distance of two weeks. My question is, would you enter in a restaurant where the menu outside looks like this:

Bar was very busy and attention to the patrons on the patio appeared to be more important. Our server was awesome very apologetic for wait times. Food was ok to great. The location is nice and convenient.
Food, drinks, and service were amazing! Lindsey, Carl, and Cat provided my family and I with VIP style service and great recommendations. Would return ever trip back to San Diego.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food was excellent. We had Carne Asada tacos, Caesar salad and dry rub wings. All were exceptional, And Simon was the best server, loved everything about him. The problem was this restaurant did not accept our Open Table $40.00 dining reward, even though I made the reservation from the Open Table link associated with my certificate. This was very disappointing. How can I tell what restaurants will accept the virtual reward certificate I received from Open Table?
This is about 3.5 stars
Since to me all restaurants should pull an average of 3.. this gives it a touch above
Service was basic. Nothing other than take an order. Bring the food. Here's the bill.
Food was 4-star for sure. Flavors were new and fresh.

Amazing atmosphere and food selections here at Wild Hare!
The Lucky Foot cocktail was worth stopping in for, but the food was only so-so

This is a cute little place inside the Hilton. I ordered a Wild Hare Salad to take back up to my room with me. The salad had way too much bitter greens (maybe arugala?) and the dressing was too tart. But the worst part was that they gave me a wooden fork to eat with. Have you ever tried to eat a salad with a wooden fork? I couldn't stab the lettuce, so I couldn't really eat it.
