Missed the mark with me. Their pizza and appetizer home made potato chips with onion dip were both decent, but tasted pre-made made and then warmed up when ordered. Reasonable prices though, and pleasantly/efficiently served.
It was good, but I think they were understaffed and/or overwhelmed by the SDCC crowd. Took about an hour to get food after ordering. Staff was nice and friendly and the food was good, but overall just a bit mismanaged. Live music was a nice treat!
We were visiting from out of town and chose New York West based on reviews praising their gluten-free pizza and I’m glad we did. Here’s the truth: that pizza was perfect. The gluten-free crust was excellent crispy, flavorful, and hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried plenty of gluten-free pizzas, and this one takes the #1 spot.
