This restaurant has a great mixologist. Our cocktails were interesting and tasty. The service was impeccable from wait staff to bus people. The ambiance was tasteful and interesting. The food, especially their cold and hot plates were intoxicating! The short ribs were tender and flavorful.
Ambience is very hipster - the decor is quite contemporary with a twist of (tasteful) cartoony wall art. Service was great and our server Matt was attentive, well-groomed and gracious. Staff in general including management was nice to check in on how we were doing. Our only less than perfect experience came with the drinks and the food. The 2 to Mango and Midnight in Manila almost tasted exactly the same (the mango was just a tad fruitier). There's way too much ice in these...
Animae is one of our favorite restaurants and we took our friend (who had never been) for her birthday. Everything was wonderful - ambience, service, food. Please keep doing what you are doing. Just perfect.
