This is one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. I actually can’t stop thinking about it. My only criticism is that the cashier charged me more than the price on the sign
Great breakfast for a vegan, I loved it, Thank you.
This place is delicious!!! The best bagels I have had in years and I was just in NYC!! The vegan donuts are amazing and I don’t love donuts!!! I will return!
Love the donuts and bagels here! Highly recommended if you're in the area. 🍩🥯
The service here is always amazing, the atmosphere is great, but the food…. Never ceases to amaze me. I like to try new items just about every time I come here and I am always very pleasantly surprised by their mix of flavors and original taste. The donuts (even vegan) are always delicious. I’ve also tried many of their fun bagel sandwiches—each so unique and flavorful! This time I tried their carnitas tacos—so yummy!! I’ll add that I am super picky with tacos and these were phenomenal. Their menu is so versatile and even so, everything I’ve tried has been incredibly delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. (:
Truly the best vegan donuts and vegan breakfast. My kids are allgergic to eggs, so this place is the best. We go almost every saturday before hitting up the zoo. it's the BEST!
Carnitas sandwich with a jalapeno bagel is a must. The secret sauce on the chopped cheese is the most overbearing mustard on the planet. Ask for it without the “secret sauce”.
95% of the donuts were vegan — we got 8 donuts and they were all delicious (the dim sum one was particularly good) Updated from previous review on 2025-05-30
I have gone here for years, they have the best bagels in San Diego I have had. Especially when they are fresh.
They are well known at this point for their doughnuts and as a person with a dairy allergy this place is my NY resolution killer, they are great. But today I had the Dubai chocolate pistachio doughnut and I melted into my body. I went to a place of bliss and the room around me dissolved, time and space disappeared and I found a place where self was entirely composed of savoring flavor.
Go get one while they are there it is a limited special.
I don’t think anything will ever taste as good as the vegan shawarma. That changed my life and I’m sad I don’t live in San Diego to eat it more. Excellent vegan options, incredibly nice staff

Best breakfast options. Delicious lunch too. Recently partnered with scratchhouse for local vegan cheese and meat. So many options. Great bagels. Vegan donuts too.
I would give too ratings (4) if the donuts were better. Three of us all got a single donut and no one was impressed. They tasted stale maybe dry? But the bagel sandwich was incredible. The bagels were so good and the vegan option list was extensive. Actually packed in protein too. I’d go back for the coffee and bagels
We got the vegan guava cream cheese donut and the vegan shawarma and the vegan TLAT on a za'atar bagel. Both were delicious !! I loved the taste of the bagel and shawarma. My bf got a cortado with oat and said it was solid. I'd highly recommend !! One of the better vegan donuts I've had as it is not so cakey.b
The donuts at Nomad are good. They are flavorful and best if warmed up when you get home like all baked goods. I like using a toaster oven or air fryer.
Kid-friendliness: This place is fine to bring your kids to. Everyone is very nice and professional

I think they need to update their name because the bagels are the best in town.
Donuts are good too. They are a pastry type of donut similar to a Toaster Strudel.
