Try the Korean short rib tacos! Though it seemed more like shaved beef than short rib. Regardless, it was delicious. The crunch of the panko crumbs was a texture dream. I didn't expect to like it so much. The employees were very kind, too.

I will begin this with, I AM A HUGE STCG FAN! However, unlike his YouTube recipes, the restraunt was a let down. Positives first, hands down the best tots I have EVER eaten, but this place is a taco spot. The overall tacos were very bland flavors; I tried the Korean Short Rib, Fish Taco, and Smoked Pork and Mac. The tortillas on all 3 tacos were cold, the proteins lacked flavor, and the star of the tacos, unfortunately, was the condiments such as Sriracha and sour cream.

As a former San Diego resident I must say that the tacos were so much better. The fish tacos today were rubbery. Leave that to the tourists.

Went there to try the thin crust pizza, then changed mind and went for taco. Flavorful fresh tacos that I usually don’t find in Seattle. I’m happy that I tried out the not-so-usual version. Ordered the trio; Korean short rib, Kelly’s shrimp & Nashville hot chicken. I’ll back next time I’m in town.

The tacos have excellent flavor and are very well served, if you want to try something delicious and different; this is the best option.

These two tacos were sooo good, both the Nashville hot chicken and the fish taco some the best had while in town. Took a lil time for em to come out but was worth the wait
Keep this in mind I have been on a hunt to find the best tacos in San Diego for the past 6 months. There's a clear reason why I gave this place a 1 star. Nothing to do with the workers or the atmosphere. This is hands down the worst tacos I've ever had. 3 main reasons; the ingredients used, the quality of the ingredients, and how everything comes together.
I got the trio (16-17 dollars keep that price in your head when reading all of this) which lets you choose 3 tacos first off when I got my food I thought there was nothing in the box...
The first taco I'm going to talk about is the Shrimp taco, the shrimp tasted average at best. I'm not big into shrimp but my taste buds will like any shrimp that is cooked. The shrimp tasted cold and just a little bit too hard. The red cabbage honestly is just a terrible idea to put on tacos especially when they make the cabbage the main food in the tacos and just sprinkle in the meat. I first noticed this when I saw them preparing someone else food. They ordered the chicken taco with a pickle and I noticed the amount of cabbage and the super small chicken tender they added to it. I was going to get that (Nashville hot chicken tender) until I saw the ridiculous large pickle added right at the end. Back to the shrimp taco, the one decent part about the tacos was the mix with the shrimp and chipotle cream. It has a shrimp flavor but not ideal. Honestly, this was the first taco I ate and after I was done with it I wished I never ordered food from here.
The second taco I got was the Korean short rib taco. The first thing again was the size of Jicama and vegetables used to the amount of meat. I don't understand why they keep making it seem like you're just coming to eat vegetables on a soft taco. I never had jicama before so I'm not gonna lie it was nice trying something new but I wished it was on a traditional meat proportion taco. But in general shouldn't be on a taco. For the meat honestly, I was super excited to try the Korean short rip I thought it would be juicy and flavorful. I was wrong. It was dry, with barely any Korean sauce flavor which might be because of the sauced-up vegetables. There were barely any ribs on the taco. I that the fact all the photos on the website and store make it seem like you're getting your money's worth which is not even close to being true.
The third taco. I saved this one for last because I love chicken and was hoping this one would not be like the small tender taco (Nashville hot chicken) but I was wrong. They barely put any chicken on these tacos I was so pissed because through the countless taco shops I've been to the meat is always heavy for the size of the taco they serve. The taste of the chicken made me question if it was even chicken. The sauces they added to the chicken also completely canceled out the actual taste of the chicken. Again I absolutely hated the idea of cabbage in a taco if not done right. There was so much of it I thought the meat in all 3 tacos was actually just the toppings in the taco. The one thing that actually got me excited and eventually enjoyed the most about the cashew chicken was the red peppers I thought it would mix well with the chicken and it could've if there wasn't so much cabbage and barely any meat.
I made this review because I spent 30 min deciding if I wanted this to Shake Shack. After all, there were barely any other taco shops in Little Italy, and didn't want to travel too far for food. At first, I was happy I chose this place now I'm going to regret all night not going to Shake Shack and and even deeper regret of wasting $17 on just 3 awful tacos. Creativity killed this shop, and this shop was built off bad overall choices in preparing tacos.
Lastly and most importantly I spent 30 minutes in the bathroom because these tacos never in my life have tacos done this to me and I've eaten a lot and will continue to eat a lo

I am a fan of tacos and had to try this place after watching the YouTube channel of Sam the cooking guy but I’m not 100% impressed. First of all the location looked really sad since it is in a food court and it was really dark with no private seating. There is one cashier and one self order machine which is not very user friendly. Lastly, the food took awhile when there was no one there and the fish and shrimp was a bit overcooked and dry. Having said that, I think the flavor was great. I understand it is hard to sustain quality control not made directly from the chef so I appreciate the flavor but a taco for $6.50 - $8 per taco I would love to have a private area to sit. I would also add that the staffs were very nice!

Not not tacos is definitely a place if you want to try something unique! Food was hot and fresh! Loads of options for anyone! Prices are decent and it’s a quick stop for lunch or dinner before heading to your next activity! If you don’t feel like talking to the workers they have a self order machine that you can place your order with the menu items and prices! Easy to use and self explained! Will be coming here again!
Food was tasty but on the pricier side for Mexican food in San Diego.
Great for Little Italy. The menu is kinda a fusion of different styles with Mexican. Not traditional fare.
