This place is the coolest spot I've been to in OB for one of the best hard kombuchas on the market. Love the spaciousness and huge projector TV and huge game room with pool and air hockey. Dylan is the coolest server. Great job Nova👏🏻

Unfortunately, the bartender provided a very poor experience. Upon arrival, she did not offer any menus or information, and throughout the evening, she was eating dinner, wearing headphones, and using her phone while patrons were present. At no point did she check in or ask if I needed anything else, which made the visit feel unwelcoming and unprofessional.
The kombucha itself was decent, but I was hoping to try a tasting flight. The bartender didn’t mention this option at all, so I assumed it wasn’t available—only to discover later, after reviewing the menu online, that it was.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience that could have been easily improved with basic attentiveness and communication.

Unexpected delight. I had never had kombucha before but for some reason I associated it with a very heavy drink, and it isn't! I have tried both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and they were equally delicious and refreshing. The place is great and I'll for sure be back.
I frequent this place quite often and really enjoy the vibe. They have tasty kombuchas, a nice back area with games ane the bartenders; Dylan, Bree, and Maggie are all great.

One of the best bar experiences I've ever had! While visiting San Diego, I stopped by Nova Easy Kombucha and was lucky enough to be served by Bree. She’s honestly, the best bartender I’ve ever met. She was incredibly hospitable, hilarious, and genuinely fun to talk to. You can tell she loves what she does and makes everyone feel welcome and relaxed. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Nova and hope Bree’s behind the bar!

My recent visit to Nova Easy Kombucha on a quiet Sunday evening left me quite disappointed, and I feel compelled to share my experience. As someone who’s enjoyed a good kombucha now and then, I was eager to try the variety this place had to offer. However, the barmaid behind the counter seemed to have no knowledge whatsoever about kombucha. When I asked about the different kombucha flavors and their ingredients, she could barely muster a response beyond a vague shrug and a mumbled, “I dunno, they’re all kinda the same, they’re made with all natural ingredients.”
To make matters worse, she spent most of the time with her back to the counter, engrossed in swiping left and right on her cellphone. I stood there for several minutes, hoping for some assistance, but she barely glanced my way. It was a slow evening, mind you, with one person seated at the bar, so there was no excuse for such inattention. I value good service and a bit of respect, but I felt entirely overlooked. In the end, I left without purchasing anything, as I couldn’t trust the quality of a product the staff couldn’t even explain. I won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to think twice before visiting Nova Easy Kombucha.
