Today I had my worst experience ever at the Oakberry location in PB.
I’ve always loved Oakberry and was a big fan back in Brazil. I’ve also been to several locations here in San Diego (Hill Crest,, La Jolla UTC, PB) and usually had great experiences. Unfortunately, today was very disappointing.
The person who attended me was rude, unprofessional, and didn’t provide good service at all. I ordered just banana and powdered milk as toppings — the banana was overripe and tasted bad, and there was barely any powdered milk on top. I asked politely if he could please add a little more, and he refused, saying he could get fired for that. I even offered to pay extra, but he still wouldn’t help.
On top of that, he was constantly on his phone while preparing the food, touching his phone and then the food with no hygiene at all. This was very disappointing, especially because Oakberry is a brand I truly like and recommend — but this location needs to seriously improve its service standards. Friday - 29 august - 7pm!
