Food was pretty good! Nothing mind blowing, but pretty good. The service was good, we were closer to the speakers so the music was a bit loud but it's very beautiful! Outdoor seating is beautiful. The restaurant name makes sense now!

It's an interesting setup, with tables surrounding a pond overlooking the bar, a hillside with small nooks for seating, and an open-roof concept surrounded by apartments. The ambiance alone makes it seem like a place that would be enjoyable for drinks and maybe a few sides or appetizers. Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark. We started with the Pear & Prosciutto Crostata, which is essentially an open-faced pear tart. For an appetizer meant to be shared, it was oddly not cut for easy eating—we had to cut it ourselves. The dough was also slightly undercooked, which made it even less enjoyable. Next was the Cannellini Bean & Bacon Soup. While it was filling, it lacked depth and flavor. The iO Caesar Salad with Salmon was overdressed to the point of being unpleasant and overall just not very good. The Ragù alla Bolognese was the best of the dishes we tried, but even that was disappointing—the meat was tough and required cutting with a knife. Overall, we were completely underwhelmed. The atmosphere has potential, but the food quality does not match the setting, and we would not return for a meal.

Finally we came here. Its beautiful. The place is amazing as far as decorations. The service was great. Now the food.... the garlic break was good. We've had better in more mediocre places. The octopus was great. Taste and texture were amazing. The main entrees were subpar. Im a steak person. My go to hands down is cowboy star. I got the filet mignon. It was ok. I mean, im paying 60 dollars for a small piece of meat to cook it myself. Not worth it. The potatoes are ok. My wife got the short ribs. They were cold. Its had flavor but everything was cold. Ok lukewarm. Even her mashed potatoes. So food wise its overrated. The atmosphere and music was great. I think we were the only 40 something year old living and dancing in our seats. The music was kind of loud so having a conversation with someone is tough. We noticed a lady at the bar trying to order something and was yelling at the bartender or barback and he didn't listen or hear her. They weren't busy, but because the music was so loud, she was ignored. I could tell by her facial expression that she was upset. Oh I dont drink but my wife does. The bartenders are great. Overall, not worth it food wise. To grab a drink and chill its nice

I really enjoy dining at insideOut. I was disappointed that the decor was "in-between" their typical themes which are generally over the top and offer fantastic photo ops. I suggest that if you are looking for a special dining experience call ahead to find out dates and themes. I guarantee it is worth the call! Food has been great-once during brunch hours and once for dinner. Tommy was our server and was very professional and attentive. Weather was chilly but the fault lays on Mother Nature! The outdoor heaters couldn't quite keep us warm. Noise level was quite loud for dinner but I attribute that to two large parties inside. They were having fun!! I strongly suggest giving insideOut a try.

The experience was great. My only “complain” was the menu size. Not many options to choose from and a bit too pricey. But service was great and the ambiance is amazing:)

InsideOUT is a great place to grab a quick cocktail & appetizers, or the full dine-in experience. I have been several times and it never disappoints. The wait staff is over-the-top accommodating and friendly. The food is always delightful and some of the best in Hillcrest. If you're on the ledge than look no further. Grab a reservation and enjoy the experience.

2 of us had good food but mine was awful. All I had was a chicken Caesar salad but the dressing was thin and white like milk and tasteless and the chicken filled with sinue so that I was unable to eat it. We were given the option of 2 tables and told the others were reserved. No one ever came and sat in them. Even the ones in the atrium where we wanted to sit plenty of tables but we were not allowed to sit there! I'm not going to discourage anyone from going. This was just my experience.

It was decent. My potato's were like ehh. My sweet potatoes are also ehhh. My steak was kind of bland. nothing really to brag about honestly. The only thing that was decent was the atmosphere. it was pretty, but that really it

Very nice, I've been there 5 times and enjoyed my experience with everyone I treated to dinner there. Great decoration!!

It had potential to be such a good experience, however we got a table in the hallway away from all views. Making a reservation weeks in advance to only sit in a dark hallway was disappointing to say the least. The food was WAY over priced, especially for the amount. We got the charcuterie board and it literally had like three slices of bread and a few things of cheese. Honestly, I was pretty let down for the amount of money we spent. However, our server was amazing and he made it fun!

The food was exceptionally good. I would eat the French toast weekly if I lived near by. The coffee cake was also exceptional. Ever member of my party enjoyed everything. The ambiance is fun. The impromptu snow storm gave us a smile, even if our table didn't get umbrellas. I will say, the bathroom experience is... Interesting and not for the modest (windows looking out to the farmers market). Also make sure to ask to be in the atrium or you miss a good part of the experience.
