The matcha latte is awful. It literally tastes like a glass of milk, no matcha taste, just the color.

I love this coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and the service is great. I especially love the atmosphere. It's a great vibe with lots of cool people around.

Quaint little rustic study/coffee spot. Get here during slow times cause seats fill up fast. Also outdoor seating but if you have a laptop or a book it’s nicer indoors. Prices are good for what they offer, bathroom is clean and always stocked, overall a really pleasant and much needed coffee place.

Came here to catch up on some work. Great WiFi. Good coffee. Chia seed pudding was made with a house-made strawberry compote. The fun drinks like the bikini bottom had options for matcha or espresso. Waffle was good but a bit too sweet for me.

This place was underwhelming. First of all, the interior looks somewhat sterile and not that cozy. Upon walking up to the counter the barista didn’t even smile or acknowledge me. She kind of made me feel like an inconvenience for being there. I looked at the menu to see if they had any “specialty” drinks that they are known for — they do not. Just one seasonal drink which didn’t appeal to me. Came in expecting unique specialty drinks but turns out they just have your typical espresso, latte, americano, etc. that every other coffeeshop has. Ended up ordering a basic vanilla latte and it tasted… salty? It was odd tasting nonetheless. This place leaves a lot to be desired.

Amazing atmosphere to sit and work at! Incredible coffee
- I had a really nice bagel and would love to see a vegetable heavy veggie option.
- the drip coffee was tasty, but I’d love to see more coffees to choose from. The one I had was pretty acidic. More varieties would be super cool.
- I loved the fact that there was filtered water available, as opposed to the chlorine taste one usually gets.

This place takes liberal coffee shop in LA to the next level, which would be cool if only they made good drinks. Me and my friends ordered a combined total of 10 drinks, none of which were particularly good. The matcha was kind of just warm milk, and the vanilla latte tasted like water. I added packets of sugar to it, but the sugar didn't quite dissolve, so it just sat at the bottom of my drink like sand, a little crunchy surprise whenever I sipped my drink! The workers were lovely though.

If you order online, the wait is 10 minutes for your coffee to go. Especially good to do on a busy weekend!
This business is also DOG-FRIENDLY.
The coffee barista also makes very pretty designs with the hot milk/milk substitutes . 🩷

My husband and I stopped in for the first time yesterday on a hunt for our new regular coffee shop, and a friend recommended OB Beans. Eddie (not sure if that was his name, but he was very proud to be Welsh) was incredibly friendly and helpful with the guests ahead of us, and proceeded to do a complete 180° when we approached. He outright glared at my husband, did not offer any insight on the shop, roasts, or menu, and did not say more than 'what do you want?' & '$10.50'.. very disappointed as the iced coffee (which Eddie poured....we wanted out as soon as he asked our order) was good. Maybe the sunshine hasn't quite helped his vibe just yet. He'll definitely need an attitude adjustment before the tourists come to town.
TLDR; great shop for an average coffee and terrible customer service.

The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere.
We ordered an Americano and banana bread.
The coffee and banana bread were both delicious.

I had ordered a coffee to stay, and specifically asked for the coffee to be served in a ceramic cup to avoid waste and drinking microplastic. It came in a paper cup. While the barista offered to pour it into a ceramic cup, that defeated the purpose of my request. She also offered to remake it…
The tagline here is “doing good” and I commend their efforts. But ponder for a moment where all those paper cups go 30 minutes later. Multiply that by all the coffee shops that serve this way, post pandemic. It’s not sustainable.
