I have always enjoyed food here at Ob Noddle House. My go-to are the sizzling fish, the house-fried rice, and the fried wings. The wings are definitely top three in San Diego. The house-fried rice and the sizzling fish are definitely the top of my favorites to eat. Excellent service; everyone is nice and really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience.
Excellent food. Cool servers who get the job done without disrupting your meal. Love OB Noodle House!
I have celiac and they claimed everything with a star was gluten free. i ordered the GF fried rice and got sick. called back and apparently you have to ask for it to be GF which our waitress did not mention..nor the menu. This place is horrible and is false advertisement. NEVER EVER GO HERE!!!
Every time I come to San Diego I have to go to OB Noodle House Bar!! I suggest a smorgasbord of everything. Wings, crispy noodles, chicken lettuce wraps, edamame, beer!!…. They have pho, tacos and did I say an amazing choice of beers… It’s all amazing a delightful and flavorful experience all around. Parking is a little difficult but sooo worth it. A must if you visit San Diego.
I liked the pho and the pricing. The waitress and ambiance was a bit pretentious. Our host was miserable. ☹️
Oh, what a good vegan pho with tofu and veggies! I genuinely enjoyed and appreciated the friendly service and chilled atmosphere. The dark and stormy drink was dangerously delicious!Thank you for the nice evening over here.
I ordered their “jumbo wings” and they were just normal chicken wings a quarter size of my hand. They straight up lied. The bartender even told me they were “big”. 3 stars for being quick and the wings were at least good.
Since the response says their menu doesn’t specify jumbo wings. Here is the description.
“Jumbo wings marinated with garlic and spices; served with ranch. (Less spicy upon request) *Gluten-free without ranch”
Best food! Music is a little loud :)

Food, atmosphere and service was great. We had the chicken wings and the 1502 special pho and both tasted amazing. Service was also great and pricing was fair.

I used to be a fan of OB Noodle House, but after my recent experience, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back.
First off, the service was extremely disappointing. The waiting staff lacked basic courtesy, and one waitress, who appeared to be pregnant, was outright rude. She hassled two African American guest to move from a seat they had already been served at, which was rude, unprofessional and unnecessary.
What also really stood out was the apparent prejudice in their serving practices. It was hard to ignore that the only African American server seemed to be assigned solely to African American customers. This blatant bias left a sour taste in an already unpleasant visit.
Speaking of taste, the wings used to be my go-to favorite. Sadly, they’ve gone downhill in quality. What used to be flavorful and satisfying now feels like an afterthought. A hard pass for me now.
Lastly, the music was unbearably loud. It was nearly impossible to have a conversation with the person sitting next to me. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a meal and actually talk, this isn’t it.
All in all, OB Noodle House has lost its charm for me. I’d recommend taking your time and money elsewhere.

Wow! I've heard of the place and it lived up to all the hype and that AMAZING. The wings were crispy and incredibly tasty. The sizzling fish was "to die for". I cannot wait to come back to SD for this ultimate pit stop!

Never a bad day when you stop in and Jake makes you a drink! Favorite food is the minced chicken lettuce cups and fried shrimp. Noodles are good as well. Don't forget to top your night with a PB Jamo "desert"! Favorite place in OB and will always come back.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't bring kids at night - music gets loud. During the day sitting in the outside patio night be ok.
