Everytime we visit Ocean Beach, OB Noodle House is one of our musts. The food is amazing. Highly recommend the spicy garlic wings and the house fried rice.

OB Noodle House will always have my heart.. When in doubt, GET THE WINGS!!!! Everything on the menu is delicious & service is always fast/great! I love sitting inside by the tree because they play awesome music at night!

Really fun atmosphere with great food! As busy as they were, the service was higher than I expected so kudos to the staff. Food was amaaaaazing. Cocktails were great too. We had the garlic spicy wings and their house special friend rice - a must try!!

I've been to both locations. I enjoy both locations. This review is just for the bar. It is a bar, so it has more of a bar atmosphere. There is often someone celebrating their birthday, so you'll hear a bell ring, some yelling and witness someone, or multiple people, at one time try and chug a sake type drink. It is often hilarious. Every time I witness it, it's the same waiter doing the yelling intro. I don't know how his voice survives this every night. He has to have a voice care routine similar to a singer on tour. Maybe he gets some tips from Beyonce.The atmosphere is nice. I've often had great conversations with strangers waiting in line for the bathroom. I'm unsure of that's a testament to the restaurant's atmosphere or just my kind demeanor, but the ambiance is great. There are two bathrooms that are single stall and unisex. So it evens out the playing field some. Ladies, how many times have you stood in a long line at the ladies' room entrance while watching what seems like a mostly empty men's room maintain a steady flow of traffic. Every time that door swings, you consider walking through. That doesn't happen here.There is ample seating and tvs everywhere so you can eat and enjoy any sports entertainment that may be on.Oh, the food. Yes, the food. I am partial to the Korean short beef ribs. It's just a sizzling plate of ribs and rice, but it's one of the most magical things on earth. I'd take them over Disney land and day! All of the pho and noodle dishes are phenomenal. I took my toddler this past weekend, and she got the pan seared egg noodles with vegetables. She was happy. I love this place so much that I might go back tonight to get some of the Vietnamese BBQ. I have also come here with a large birthday party. It was a week night, but they were very accommodating.Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options with all of the dish types

From far, the place looks like just your regular bar where you would just order beer and French fries from. However, that's not the case here. Apparently, food is delicious! I ordered sizzling fish and was pleasantly surprised by its quality - it came with freshly topped greens (cilantro and green onion) and a side of rice. Perfectly portioned leaving no room for hunger. My boyfriend is obsessed with combination fried rice (and brown sauce) on the menu and I am confident we will be back for more. Phos looked interesting so I might have to check them out next!

Ambiance was ok, it was very loud, crowded and service was very slow. The server took our appetizer order and came back like 15-20 minutes later without asking for our drink order. The short reins were great, the crispy beef and vegetables were tasty but we found hair in the food. At one point I dropped my chop sticks and I asked for a replacement and had to wait 20 minutes and nothing. Finally I had to go outside to the hostess to request new ones. Also, they sat us in the back next to a band setting up and one of them was very rude. Was moving stuff around and almost knocked stuff off of our table. overall, I would say that I do not recommend this place.
The service here was great as always! My friend really liked their dumplings (I couldn't try because of shrimp allergy) but she said they were flavorful and crunchy. I got the spicy garlic wings and they were so full of flavor. My only complaint is that some of them were definitely old because they were slightly warm while others were obviously fresh because they were steaming hot. The dry chow fun was really good, the noodle texture was perfect, it could've just used a bit of salt. The pork fried rice was really great and a huge portion!

Love the rare steak pho here. Very good. Staff is very friendly. There is a 2 hour free parking lot behind the restaurant, it does tend to fill up quickly though. Usually just park in residential areas in the surrounding neighborhood. Across from Poma's and La Dona.
