We have been coming here for decades, and I don’t normally leave 1-star reviews, but we were thoroughly disappointed today with their food, service, and the atmosphere.
Salad was NOT fresh, the shrimps were too small / thin, and there were multiple flies flying around us.

They missed the mark the last time I was here. The karaage was bland and soggy and the miso salmon was quite salty and tasted over cooked. The seaweed around the negitoro hzndroll tasted stale and was soggy. They have a great menu and the atmosphere. This is a really fun place to go with a group to share some dishes. Hope they can pay a bit more attention to the food coming out of the kitchen!

Paid $25.00 for a small yellowtail collar. I'm a fisherman and buy fish on the market, and I know these collars don't cost that much. In most cases, these cost roughly $2.50 each in bulk. In a more fancier resto the most I pay for the collar is no more ethan $15. The Gyoza are dry and very, very tiny. Again, in the majority of the place I have eaten, this stuff won't cost me no more than $25. But in this place, I ended up paying more than $46.00. This is my first experience eating at this restaurant and it's a big disappointment. My recommendation is to ask if there are items without any pricing and clarify the actual price before ordering. If not, the menu will end up costing you twice or three times the regular price.

I'm always looking for the next shop that serves good curry besides Japan or Ichiban. The serving was very friendly and the variety of the other dishes were tasty. The yakitori choices were nice to enjoy the different meats. Service can be a hit or miss. My first time here the service was understanding and friendly. The other time the service seemed like they didn't want anyone around. Still the food was great and another place to return and enjoy

Super cozy, laidback restaurant, with lots of great Japanese comfort food. The menu is pretty diverse so you can find some dishes here that aren't as common to see, and there's a good drink selection too. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Asahi on the menu said 16oz. The glass they filled said 12oz. When I asked the girl server, she said they always fill it to the top, which is definitely not 4oz more. When I asked her that, she couldn’t care less. Hate it when restaurants scam customers like this.

Very authentic Japanese izakaya restaurant, great food and decor reminds me of places in Japan. The duck ramen was particularly delicious.
Super good food, fast service, and a relaxed atmosphere, with dark wood walls adorned by Japanese alcohol posters and traditional prints, and J-pop on the radio. The mentai udon was particularly unique and delicious, and will be back to try the carbonara as well.

Utter disappointment and will not come back. Waitress rushing customers out as they close at 2:30. But the food was the biggest disappointed. Significantly overpriced food for a teeny tiny portion. A few pieces of beef tongues as big as my nails are $11.

I got the duck ramen and the mixed tempura. Honestly, the tempura is a little big greasy but the amount of food is generous.

Highly recommend the udon. First bite it made me feel like it’s Mac and cheese and the more I ate, I felt like it’s Alfredo. Super creamy and unique. The salmon roll is very fresh. And the chicken in the curry is super crispy. We finished the three dishes with two adults!
