Great food and great location, but hidden away in the hills overlooking old town. Our Server Greg was outstanding. I would come back just because of him.
A hidden gem. Off the beaten path in old town, but definitely worth checking out. The food was amazing.
This is disappointing to have to write- as in previous visits- its been great! However, yesterday we took some out of town guests for Brunch. Our server was good, the food was not. It was disappointing.
This is just a fun space to enjoy the day with brunch or even the taco lunch. THe patio has one of the best views of the city and the service team is unmatched!
A bit run down, did not taste authentic or high quality, but fine...bathroom was HORRIBLE and smelled nasty- no toilet paper. Server was nice.
Was not greeted by server at our table until 10 minutes had passed and a member of our party went and found someone. Went to order drinks the waiter said we should only order drinks on the rocks because the bartended was overwhelmed. Food was not authentic and the following were issues: burrito came with cooked celery in it and was not listed as containing that on the menu. Fish tacos was clearly a frozen fish pattie (looked like gortins brand fish from the grocery store). The appetizer platter was equally not good. It had quesadilla. Nachos, buffalo chicken wings, and some strange calamari. Would not recommend going here ever.
We came here because they had good reviews. They must have been doing something different in the kitchen for Cinco de Mayo. The tamales were super dense, hard and dry as a bone. The sauce for the enchiladas was flavorless and tasted like it came out of a can. The blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos were bone dry, not "blackened" only brown from cooking with no seasoning. The shredded cabbage seemed straight out of a food service bag. The best way to describe the food was it was already cooked and being kept warm buffet style in the kitchen and then assembled and heated before serving. Again I'm going to assume they did something different in the kitchen due to cinco de mayo because there is no way this food quality would get 4 stars.
The food was pretty good, we had an enjoyable time. The view is pretty decent overall. We had fun.. a little pricey. For. For people and a baby with two beers and two shots of tequila about $235. The economy is so expensive right now. It's kinda hard to justify doing this other than the fact that it was somebody that's very special to me birthday.
The views were nice (on a gray day) but the food was truly terrible and it was super loud with groups and kid birthday parties, complete with popping balloon hats. Ugh.
An unforgettable lunch filled with mouthwatering food, surrounded by amazing company, made for an incredible experience that I won't soon forget!

So, you know the old saying," you get what you pay for" and it is true here, at best average food, EXCEPT for the chicken skewer, that my husband had which was raw. Totally put us off the whole place. Service was good, and friendly, but the food...Oh dear.
The food is a 5* for sure. They have large servings as well. The carnitas enchiladas were bomb, the steak and shrimp fajitas also bomb. The service was a 3*... the waitress was a bit rude. We had 8 total with 4 kids with us, she was not friendly. I noticed the attitude and didn't say anything, then my husband noticed and told me she wasn't friendly. Our kids were well behaved and we weren't difficult with orders or anything so not sure what was up. I would not consider this place kid friendly for a few reasons. 1. No activity sheet with crayons for kids, they gave us 1 kids menu for both of our families to share, not sure they were low or what but we asked for two and were told they only had 1. They don't have kids cups with lids and straws, this alone is almost worth not going back. Both the 4 year olds spilled their water and were playing with it. Their cups for the kids were just open cups. If you get kids cups with kids and straws then let us know and we will be back. The alcoholic drinks were okay. I sensed some carbonation in the skinny margarita which I hate, the menu did not say it had soda water. The glass was skinny and tall, I personally look forward to the classic old fashioned double walled glasses. The tajin rim was weak too. Overall the food was so good almost worth going back for but would love to see some friendlier service and kids cups.
Good overall...tortilla soup was mid at best. The fajitas were good but pricey for what you get. Nice place.
The food smelled great but tasted very bland, except everything was unexpectedly sweet. The beans, salsa, fajitas, even the chips had a sweetness. And the blandness was not just a lack of heat (which was surprising), but even general seasonings including salt were lacking.
The table was sticky and the windows overlooking the spectacular view were dirty.
Overall, disappointing especially considering the price.

This place used to be cute but I guess it didn't survive covid. The inside is so run down. The margaritas were weak and the taco buffet was like a school lunch cafeteria. It was very disappointing. We went on a Saturday and it was almost completely empty. ?
