A highlight of our Mission Beach vacation. The cinnamon rolls are the BEST we've ever had, and the kolaches were also delicious for a grab and go breakfast.

Really cute little bakery just off the beach. Someone mentioned a dog that watches over the fence. I had the pleasure of meeting her while I enjoyed my coffee and croissant.

Very tiny shop. Super close to the beach. They're known for cinnamon buns not rolls? Cream cheese frosting which isn't my favorite but freshly baked and undeniable. I didn't get a chance to try their coffee but they also have tons of cute, knick-knacks and gift packages of local honey and jams if you're looking for a tasty souvenir.

Loved this place. Came here first day early when they opened and enjoyed fresh cinnamon roll and coffee. Had to come back next day before I left for another cinnamon roll and coffee.

Sweet bun with savory filling. The shop sells other things too. I was there around 9:30 a.m. Some buns had almost run out! I like the egg. The sausage felt more like a patty to me, and the pizza was too salty.

Olive Baking Company in San Diego is an absolute gem. We loved it so much that we went twice in just four days because everything we tried was amazing. The kolache is a must try, every flavor is delicious but the sausage, egg, cheese, and jalapeño one stole the show. And ABSOLUTELY don't miss the cinnamon roll... It is soft, perfectly sweet, and full of flavor.

Their organic coffee pairs perfectly with the fresh pastries and breakfast items. Sitting right off the beach, it is the perfect place to start your morning with ocean air and a great cup of coffee.

The vibe is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and the food is top notch. Olive Baking Company is now one of our favorite San Diego spots and we cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed a latte from their espresso machine and a fresh cinnamon roll warm from the oven. Both were excellent, other pastries in the counter looked very tasty as well. We took our order to go.

The cutest cafe ever!! This is seriously one of my favorite spots to go to in SD. They have incredible kolaches (think: Hawaiian sweet bread filled with egg/cream cheese/etc) that they heat up for you, and all kinds of flavored coffees. The vibe is amazing and there’s a Labrador that looks down over the fence as you sip your coffee! And the beach is one block away.

I really wanted to love this place, but the chocolate muffin was dry and the cinnamon roll (which we bought the moment they opened) was not baked fresh. I was expecting a warm, soft cinnamon roll since we were the first people in the door. It was clearly day-old and dry. The croissants were fabulous though. When I go back, it will be for a kolache and a loaf of sourdough instead.
