Olleh Convoy Korean BBQ is the kind of place where you go in hungry and leave a grilled meat enthusiast. You get to cook your own food, so it’s like being your own chef, but with more delicious results. The meats are top-notch, the sides are endless, and the egg soup? Absolutely addictive. Pro tip: Bring your stretchy pants and prepare to overeat, because once you start, you won't stop until you're rolling out the door.

My first experience with Korean BBQ, so perhaps harsh. When I go to a restaurant. I am wanting to experience the cultural diversity and culinary skill of an experienced chef and the venue presenting. What I got was a smokey room with a grill on my table and raw ingredients brought out so I could enjoy burning them up myself. There was no suggestion of what vegetables or sauces should be used with what meats or what vegetables pair as well. I suppose this is fine for those who have such skills and experience. but I would not expect to be paying $34 a plate to cook for myself. Additionally, there was only one set of tongs and a couple of spoons available to cook with, so there is no possibility of being able to serve out cooked food with a utensil that is not contaminated by raw meat. I will grant that the service was quick to be asking if I wanted more, and brought it out promptly, but overall I was deeply disappointed.

After a karaoke night I was simply walking around when I saw this place , I wanted buddae jjigae but they didn’t have
But it did not disappoint still , It was a very pleasant experience. I didn’t expect to leave the place literally ROLLING on how much food I had . The staff was so friendly and hospitality and I won’t forgive them for not letting me give a tip !

Honestly thought this place was going to be an average korean barbecue but I was wrong. I loved the meats and how tender and flavorful they were. Im haply they had good sauce choices and sides. Corn cheese was a little let down since thats usually my favorite side. All the meats were really good and would definitely come back for more.

Worst Korean BBQ experience I’ve ever had. Showed up for dinner and service was horrible from the start. The host didn’t even greet us or tell us to follow him in, he just dropped his head and started walking. We had to clarify if we were supposed to follow him in. After we followed him into the restaurant he threw two menus on a table and then proceeded to walk towards another table with saying anything. Since we weren’t told that was our table, we just followed him and he told us that the table he threw the menus at was ours. After we sat down our server (Jacob) arrived and took our order (keep in mind, with subtle attitude the entire time). Once he took the order he left. After this he would rarely check on us unless we asked for something and it would take a while to receive what we asked for. One of the few times he check in on us, we were greeted with more attitude and told to not leave our food on the table next to us. When in fact the food runners were the ones who put the food there and left it there. He realized how idiotic he looked and sounded and apologized. I eventually called him over to order more food, he told me that he’d be right back, he never came back. After about ten minutes a bigger party was seated next to us. Jacob proceeded to immediately jump to help the other party and neglecting us we called him over and told him we wanted to order and that he never took our order for more food. He then started talking back to us with attitude claiming that “there are other people here too” and “they have been waiting for a while” referring to the party that was literally JUST seated. After some back and forth banter his manger stepped in and tried to help but failed to apologize about any of the inconvenience, or about the way Jacob was speaking to us. However I do appreciate his effort to take better care of us after the experience. I would recommend this place for their food, but if you go stay away from Jacob. He seems to not like the concept of hospitality. He never apologized for the lack of effort and the very rude attitude. He only apologized when he looked bad telling us to move food that his coworkers had placed in the wrong area. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Makes sense that you’d be treated like this when they automatically charge gratuity for larger parties.

We were seated at like 8:30pm. Everything was going great till we looked around and realized we were the last table. We still had time since we get the table for 2 hrs. Well before we were even done the employees turned off all the lights except for our tables light. In the background there was music playing (good music) then all of sudden at like 9:30 they shut off the music and the ambience completely changed cause everything was so quiet and just weird. So I nicely requested for them to put the music back on since there was still customers (us). They took like 15 mins to turn it back on and the Spanish employee before putting the music back on started singing “Y si te vas, Y si te vas” loudly I am Spanish so I found this very rude basically blatantly telling us to leave! At this point our appetite is gone and they charged us for the left over even though they were making it impossible to enjoy our meal. We paid a total of 144 for 4 people. Food was good until they rushed us out the building before our 2 hrs was up. I’ll never go again!
After getting boba we are craving KBBq.
So we just roll the dice and try it.

Amazing food, service, and good vibes. My friends and I love coming here to eat and celebrate our birthdays. Servers are always on point with bringing refills. Music is also amazing. Food is incredible. I'm addicted to the sesame balls, too. It's a must try!! FYI, parking can suck especially on the weekend. It's a big parking share by various restaurants.
