I’m extremely disappointed with what’s happening at OMOMO in Del Mar. My family and friends have supported this location for a long time, and many people across San Diego continue to support your business.
Today, I was shocked to be told that I would have to pay $1 for a bag to hold the drinks I purchased from your store. I had already spent $25 on three drinks, and being asked to pay extra just to carry my own drinks was frustrating and unreasonable.
I was also told that I would only receive a bag for free if I ordered five or six drinks. This was never a problem before. If I had only ordered one drink, I would understand. But I purchased three drinks, and it is completely reasonable to expect a secure way to carry them.
Especially considering the box provided does not properly hold the drinks in place, it feels unfair to charge customers extra for basic packaging.
This experience was disappointing and does not reflect the level of service loyal customers expect.

Arrived shortly after opening (12pm) on a week day. Already a few people in line. Staff was helpful in recommending a drink. Ordered the Matcha Cortado. Waited for 15-20 minutes, as they didn't start creating drinks until about 12:15. They won't give you the drink until you show them a receipt (lol). The drink is good, it's... matcha. Unfortunately all of the sweetener was at the bottom so be sure to shake it up. The space is sparse. No seating. 3.5/5

I don’t play about this place! I go here allllllll the time with my friends and boyfriend. This is my favorite boba place because the drinks are a good size, amazing taste, their boba tastes so fresh and never too sweet or chewy, and they always make my drinks consistently good. They have an easy rewards system and fast service. I love how they changed their closing time an hour later because it was the only thing I wish was different. But I have tried almost everything and I like it all! My favorites are the uji green milk tea, coco latte, camo thai, and strawberry tornado! I reccommend trying to add foam or oreo to ur drink to make it even better. So glad this place is also in SD.

The line goes out the door, but if you’re willing to wait around 15-20 min (maybe even longer), then OMOMO is a great place for boba and milk tea. Any time they come out with drinks with the mochi or paste I love them, because it’s like a topping I can’t find anywhere else. I highly recommend their recently added drink called Wicked, which has ube paste in a matcha latte/milk tea. I got mine with cheese foam, and it was delicious!

Love it. Awesome chewy boba, and even better creamy matcha. Rather on the sweet side than on the matcha-ey side, but still good considering it’s boba instead of a traditional matcha beverage.

I ordered Jasmine milk tea with tiramisu foam, boba, and less ice. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend and will be coming back. Great prices too😊

I got Taro fresh milk tea - not too sweet Omomo matcha - weird clouds of salty something (edit - was cheese clouds, I am not a fan but my friend is. They're like these rich, slightly salty dairy blobs that surprise you when you stick your straw over them) Angry matcha - I did not see the espresso shot at the top, so it seemed like a regular matcha drink to me. Itchy Peach - same cheese clouds but with a peach slush, pretty nice if you like those 2 things Second Momo - peach drink with tea base, has a nice tea after taste and small cut peaches, refreshing and not too heavy
There is no inside seating. There is often a line, but it moves pretty fast. The drinks are still $5-8, but for the quantity and quality, it’s a deal compared to the places that use powders. I almost think the drinks are too big because it’s a lot of milk, sugar, and depending on what you order, caffeine. These drinks have kept me up all night. Usually I wouldn’t complain because more is better, but this is a little too much.
The quality is good, and the drinks are well executed. Still not the most amazing tea drinks I’ve ever had but a good choice if you want something to sip on.

If we are in the Del Mar area craving tea or boba, we go to Omomo. The parking can be tricky and the lines can be long, but it moves quick enough. My go to drink is the Omomo Matcha but we tried seasonal peach drinks (Itchy Peachy and Second Momo) this time around. Both were refreshing and the perfect Summer drinks. Highly recommended!
