We had a great experience. The food was delicious. We started with the bruschetta, which was delicious, My friend got the mushroom ravioli dish. It had great flavor, but was a little too salty. Kind of small portion - 6 ravioli, and they weren't huge. Would definitely not make a complete meal. I got the gnocchi. They were different as they are stuffed with Asiago. They were delicious and there were plenty. The sauce is quite heavy. I asked about getting it with the mushroom...
I used to work downtown and ate at Operacaffe pretty often, but it's been almost a decade since my office moved and I hadn't been back but a few times until this weekend. I had forgotten how incredible the food is - so much so, that we ate there twice this weekend. The carpaccio and the i coccoli are delectable - we ordered those both nights. I had the duck ragu special one night and the Tortelli Di Granchio the next - both so incredible. My husband opted for the Filetto...
The food was really great! We had the Lasagna and Pollo Limone and both had great flavor. The service was poor, they wanted to rush our dinner order and I hadn't even ordered a beverage yet. The server never came by to check on us and we had to go to the bar area to try to get a check. They seemed to be severely understaffed.
