Original Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers

First time at Tommy's for me. Very satisfying meal. Ordered the chili cheese fries and chili cheese burger. It all came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Root beer float was amazing too (love their soft serve).I don't think this food survives well on a delivery order. You need to eat it fresh, right away.

Great customer service. The chili cheese fries were the best! Celebrated my son's heavenly birthday by eating his favorite.

Parking: Plenty of parking

Hardest sandwich to eat on the planet. Strange flavor. Took a long to receive my meal. The best thing about Tommy's is the fountain machine. Free refills and cold ice.

Tommy's has the best chili burgers. If you want a large burger with chili, this is not the place for you. If you are vegan, run. They simply make the best greasy, chili burgers and chili fries around. They also have great hot dogs--add chili. Just add chili to everything. Their burgers are thin and in a fresh bun. You then tell them what you want on them. They have everything that goes with a burger. Also get fries. They are great. With or without chili and cheese, they are just magical. They also have great shakes and drinks. The service is super nice and everything is cooked to order. You can eat there, use the drive thru, or pick up. You will love it and it is a must for tourists. Have fun.

Clean place, friendly staff and consistent, awesome tastin' chili! My go-to is 2 orders of chili fries, no cheese. I'm here once a month!!!!

Stopped in for a chili dog because, historically, they are pretty good. Or at least they have been in Los Angeles. Chili was sludge. Probably applied with a putty knife. The tiny little hot dog was hidden under it and, well, it's not what they serve, or used to serve, in LA. I mean pencil sized. Sad0 sad state of affairs. Fries were good but I will never have another chili dog at Tommy's World Famous San Diego. Burgers looked good.

First time was three weeks ago and I order a chili cheeseburger and chilifries. Cheseburger was OK , i think the chili is too much for a burger. Chili fries were lit.The second time just order a single cheeseburger and chili fries. The cheeseburger without the chili is great. Is a classic, all around well made burger that can rival In-&-out. The chili fries were Amazing.I recommend coming just for the chili fries, as a cheap and full conform food. Burgers and great too and I think is one of the best burger around the area for the price. Place is always clean, the ladies are really sweet and they prepare the food really fast.Its a very reliable place for fast food and I recommend it.

Great staff, the two ladies there were really nice. You don't usually get that at most Fast food places. As usual, Tommy's was great ?. Will be back next trip. We stopped on our way home to Arizona, we were here for the Mustangs by the bay car show.

We love this place. Food is delicious and the people that work there are very nice. Just wished they could do something about that smell that always lingers when you come in and pay more attention to the bathrooms.

Only place to get an excellent chili dog. It is the closest to a Detroit Coney dog. My choice is with chili, raw onions and a bit of mustard. Their employee Araceli is great too. Go!

best chili burgers ever!!

This was our 2nd time here. I have never been disappointed with Tommy's ever! We paid 29$ for 2 meals that were so not worth it! We got chili cheese fries with our meal. I swear we only got like 12 fries in each box they put them in. The burgers were dry even though we got chili cheese burgers. They were not tasty at all! I even tried to put some of the few chili cheese fries in the burger to see if that would help. But nope did not help. We don't have a Tommy's close to home so going to eat Tommy's is a great treat to us,most of the time.

I've been coming here for the past 15 or so years for my favorite comfort food, chili cheese fries. I ordered my fries, a little shocked at how much prices were inflated here but hey, we live in these days now, right? When I got my food, I couldn't believe how little food was my in order for over $5! I have to break up with you, Tommy's. ? It was good while it lasted. I can make this in my air fryer at home and get so much more to eat. This is my final goodbye to you ?
