I wonder what.... 3% surcharge is???
This is illegal bro. What I see on the menu is what i should be paying. Don't even bother have pricing then
In fact, why didn't they just do 100% surcharge --- Then they could make double.
Also waiter thought we were vaping? Cmon bruh
It's all right ...7/10 food
It's so hard to mess up pasta and somehow they almost did. Noodles were al dente, but the flavor isn't complex. The spices and flavors arent all that great. Seafood pasta had shrimp were pretty small perhaps frozen. The gnocchi was acceptable. The bolognese, quite watered down.

Definitely a tourist trap in the middle of the gaslamp quarter. Bread was warm, calamari appetizers was ok. Their cioppino ingredient is the same as their risotto dish except no rice and they added a bunch of capers and olives, like seriously!?!?!?!? This was definitely not the proper way to make it. Instead of a soup, they basically gave me some leftover pasta sauce as you can see from the picture in terms of consistency. If you can't make it then don't serve it. Very disappointed for $100 a person. Tiramisu was great though. The restaurant was disturbingly loud with the patrons shouting at each other and laughing. I would try Osteria Cotto E Mangiano but a more intimate setting and better food.

Chicken parm was delicious, but the chicken came out cold. Host said free appetizer but didn't specify that it's only 1 specific app. Lol so a meal for my self cost 80 before tip. And was eh. 2 star

Second time here during our vacation in SD. We Love this place. Unfortunately our second experience wasn't as good as the first. We tried the cheese wheel pasta and the chicken parmesean plates. The cheese wheel pasta was served a bit cool. But still flavorful. Chicken parmesean is always a fantastic dish. The chicken was cooked to a perfect tenderness. We had a bottle of their house chianti, which I think next time we'll try something different. I tasted just a bit too acidic.
Service was great. Most of the employees that work there are straight from Sicily, so the accent and wording of things on the menu were fun to listen to.
We sat out on the patio, and it was a perfect night for it. They have warmers out there for ppl who may get a bit chilly. But all in all it is always fun having dinner here. See you again soon!

Pasta dishes had overwhelming truffle and garlic flavor overpowering the other ingredients that were rumored to be in the dish. Great bread (highlight of the meal). Wines by the glass were good with a generous pour.

Service and atmosphere were both very good. The food was mediocre at best and the portion was small... especially for the price. Food was definitely disappointing

food was decent, though the bread and butter was the best part. i was very excited about the gnocchi but the dish was a bit too heavy. service was quick, we sat outside and atmosphere was nice. there was a haunted building across the street with flashing lights… which was entertaining.
Vegetarian options: no protein options but lots of pasta

Wonderful fresh homemade pasta. Try the Penne al Cinghiale, authentic and amazing! I sat at the bar and received extraordinary service (Thank you Brooke). Highly recommended.
