Great service and average airport food but love that there is a place to sit for paying customers

I usually don’t write negative reviews, but I have a serious issue with this airport restaurant. I WISH that I took a picture, but when I ordered scrambled eggs, sausage, and tots, my eggs were GRAY. The food runner was not our server, but he delivered the food to us knowing that the food looked like that. When it got to the table, I immediately saw it, and refused to eat it. When the actual server (who was super nice) saw my eggs, without me even saying anything, she immediately took the plate back and apologized. Thanks to my judgement, and my wonderful server (who I forgot her name), because if I ate those disgusting gray eggs, I probably would’ve got sick on my vacation. AVOID this place at all costs! No common sense from the kitchen staff, or the people running food.

The server was extremely rude. I ordered a Moscow Mule and had to briefly take a call from my wife. The server immediately told me to use earbuds, and did so in a very disrespectful manner.
There was absolutely no regard for customer service. Behavior like this reflects poorly on the entire San Diego Airport.

Servers rude and show no service. One orders by bar code which is fine except those are hidden under catsup, salta nd pepper. On every table! Kip would be ashamed if we’re around to see this. AVOID!

$5 for cold coffee, took 5min to refund, didn't refund the tip.

Too expensive to have a bartender complain about customers right in front of me, making fun of stressed parents and “chillers” who sit in the restaurant after dining. I’m afraid you work at an airport restaurant, not the Cheesecake Factory.

This is a great pre-TSA cafe to have a meal in with good service for an airport restaurant, good food and a typical airport terminal atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and the food was really good. It was a great place to wait out our delayed flight.
