Awesome place, the food is delicious and the manager was so helpful. She offered a spicy sauce that is the most spicy i have ever had. Be careful!

This was a disappointing and way over priced experience. We got an order of wings, onion rings and fried cheese and 2 drinks for $48. The service was slow so the onion rings were cold and the cheese was burning hot. I did not like the breading on it at all. I ate part of an onion ring and a bite of the cheese and didn’t even try the chicken. I left and got myself something else to eat and left it all for my husband which was fine because it was really not enough for 2 hungry people.

From the outside, it’s unassuming and I had no idea it was a korean fried chicken place!! Apparently it’s the #1 rated korean fried chicken place in Japan.
I thoroughly enjoyed mine though the class mild sauce was a bit sweet. The other one we tried was the black aglio (black garlic and special soy). They have a lunch combo everyday which includes 3 pc boneless 3 piece wings, fried rice or steamed rice, and cole slaw, and a fountain drink for $15.95.
They also kindly gave our party free gyoza on the house which was really nice!

I really like the ownership and the changes they've made. I came here for my birthday. Call me weird but there's nothing more comforting than fried chicken, beer, soju, and friends! Everything here is great and the thick cut fries are a plus. Chicken is juicy on the inside, crunchy on the outside and the sauces! Get outta here!

Wow. I have never been so impressed by a restaurant selling chicken wings.
Crispy Chicken and Tomato is the best place for wings in the county. Seriously. I love wings. And I am so impressed. The Garlic Sauce Wings and Black Anglio Wings (which is soy sauce and garlic) are each 10/10. I am so happy with this restaurant. It's like they take time with each wing to make each one perfect. I am dead serious.
Almost all of the other chicken restaurant companies are sloppy. Their wings are tiny or deformed or dry or burnt. They usually have something wrong. Raising Cane's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Epic; are all over-rated and sloppy.
But *****Crispy Chicken n' Tomato***** shocked me with their sweet and polite service and their chicken wings. I have been to over 30 different chicken wing restaurants, and this location is perfect. They have a lot of other things, too. I edited this review to give a thorough explanation of the experience. Two days later and I am still thinking of those wings

Wow. We ordered 2 different flavors of chicken, seaweed roll, teokbokki, and cheese ball. All of them were cooked perfection. My son plays baseball and needs to shop some baseball gear at Charlie Rose, and we smell delicious fried chicken, so we decided to go check it out. We are glad to stop by.

Seriously the best fried chicken in San Diego, if not the world. I tried the other places, Crispy Chicken n Tomato is better than Caines, better than Dave’s Hot. It’s better than even the other Korean fried chicken places. I didn’t used to eat fried chicken and now I crave their fried chicken.
The service is incredible. I always anticipate it will take long but the food is always ready in minutes, and it’s **so good**.
I used to go to the utc location but now I have to travel to Clairemont.

I needed a wing spot off of the beaten path that led me to this place, and boy, did I get this one right on the 1st hit.. I was puzzled with all the options and uncertainty of what to get because of multiple combos that I wast sure of, so I said 16 wings plain with 3 dips. 1 garlic honey (Fav), 1 honey soy, and 1 spicy chili something something lol. I gotta refer to the menu for the actual name 😂
Seriously, I love how hot, fresh, and crispy the wings were each of the 4 times I've been back in the last week or so.. If you read any of my reviews, I don't waste time or money. Check this spot out, yall.. You're welcome 👍💯

Delicious wings at Crispy Chicken! We ordered the jalapeño mayo and snow cheese flavors and really liked both. The fried shrimp was really tasty and the beer is great too. Very friendly and helpful staff and the food came out quickly. Nice dog friendly outdoor patio as well. Recommend!
