A lovely spot in Pacific Beach for relaxing, hanging out, and/or working!

The vibes here are literally immaculate! It feels like hanging out in a friend's super cute beachside home, with some cozy seating where the living room would be, and an ordering counter for the kitchen.

There was also plenty of seating throughout the outdoor patio, which wraps around its corner lot and gives everyone plenty of room to spread out and find cozy, semi-private spaces for themselves.

There's some lovely light bites, pastries, and other treats you could order, although we just got some coffee drinks when visiting.
For myself - the Matcha Latte with a bit of honey, which was prepared absolutely perfectly!
So foamy, soft, and soothing to sip in a nice big green mug!
This is legitimately one of the best Matcha Lattes I've ever ordered from a cafe!

The barista lady was also very friendly and took so much care and attention into preparing each drink.

The coffee drinks were a bit pricey, and I ended up paying $11 after leaving a tip...but honestly the quality of the drink and the vibes of the environment made up for that price tag.

I loved Palmy's and would definitely come back - I highly recommend stopping by when you're in the Pacific Beach area!

The worker who was working at 4:30PM on Sunday November 9th did not provide good customer service. They did not call out when our drink was ready. We ordered whipped cream there wasn’t any and when we asked about it they looked annoyed and said that they were out. But they should have communicated that initially. The latte also tasted watered down.

Waited 20 minutes for my soggy shrimp salad. Another 30 after that for my friends cold burrito she had to ask for them to microwave again (it never got warm). Another 20 after that for my friends sandwich. We all ordered at the same time. Our other friend ordered an acai bowl and there was deadass mold in her fruit y’all can’t be serious. Food is so mid and unbalanced, taste is nothing special at all you’re better off going anywhere down the street. I personally don’t like mold in my food but if you do then this is the place for you!!

Workers were rude and acted like us ordering was an inconvenience to them. I've been so excited to try this place and was disappointed and disheartened by the interaction I had with the little man with tattoos that checked us out, do better! Atmosphere is super cool and food was decent tho!

Smallest avocado toast on the thinnest piece of bread for $13. Very overpriced for the amount you get

Truly awful service. It took 45 minutes for them to make a breakfast burrito. They were not even very busy. The kitchen staff clearly don’t care about customers’ time

Today I stopped by Palmys to get some work done on my laptop and I have to say it was a 10 out of 10 experience from start to finish The ambience the service and especially the food were all on point

I ordered a few things so I could really get the full experience the Surfers Breakfast the Avocado Toast the Cocoa Chia Pudding the El Salvadorian Lifesaver smoothie and of course the French Toast Bites

Let’s start with the drinks The strawberry matcha was perfectly balanced not too sweet with smooth high quality ceremonial grade matcha The El Salvadorian Lifesaver smoothie mango pineapple passionfruit orange juice strawberry and coconut water topped with shredded coconut was tropical perfection Every fruit tasted fresh and ripe and it was refreshing without being overly heavy

The Cocoa Chia Pudding was light but satisfying chia pudding layered with coconut seeds passionfruit purée pineapple and their house made nut free granola It felt both indulgent and healthy

The Surfers Breakfast was a pleasant surprise I usually don’t like tater tots but these were cooked to absolute perfection crispy outside fluffy inside with perfectly runny eggs and roasted sweet peppers Now I know why Napoleon Dynamite didn’t want to share his tots I’ve only ever had sweet peppers raw but the way they roasted them here made me want to learn how to make it at home The avocado added that bit of freshness to tie it all together and the sourdough toast on the side was just right

The Avocado Toast was another standout The toppings cherry tomatoes cucumber radish pickled onions microgreens and a sprinkle of Tajín created the perfect balance of fresh tangy and creamy on top of thick sourdough

And then there were the French Toast Bites the star of the show Think cinnamon toast crunch for grown ups but elevated Crispy on the outside soft on the inside with fresh berries a dollop of pastry cream and maple syrup that brought it all together into a flavor bomb Truly unforgettable

Palmys is a bit of a drive for me but it’s one I’ll happily make again and again Between the welcoming atmosphere friendly staff and food that feels both thoughtful and indulgent it is worth every mile Whether you’re a local or just visiting I would definitely recommend giving this place a try
