Pappaleccos is a great place for a healthy breakfast. Their breakfast plate has delicious scrambled eggs and lots of greens, with an optional protein add-on. The service is always friendly and the restaurant very clean. As a bonus, they have great cakes and pastries, if you're in the mood.

I had a latte, and an amazing salmon Panino, which was very well done and had some delicious fresh mozzarella. I also got a small pistacchio gelato when I was leaving and it was AMAZING

This place is a mood! Love the decor and furniture; it's nice, friendly, and cozy.

Went with a friend comparing chai tea lattes and this place won. One of the best chai tea lattes I’ve tried! Better and cheaper than Lofty!

Best affogato in town! Seriously amazing service and really beautiful and delicious food. It is reasonably priced too! Honestly, I think the Whole Foods offers little bites like this with higher prices. The cakes look gorgeous and I really want to go back and try them. There is fun indoor seating and also outdoor patio space. There is a whole case of delicious gelato and pastries and the menu is full breakfast/lunch kind of food.

It's not my first time here but definitely will be last! I usually recommend this to ppl coming to SD because of how good it use to be but I guess that's nonexistent now! I have been here before. Taste and customer service was amazing but this time! I'm disappointed to say the least. Drink was disgusting and when you ask for it to be remade, they give you the look and want to recharge you when have barely touched the drink! I don't understand. The ladies behind the counter were rude. The inside is nice but not worth the try! Avoid and go take your business elsewhere. Yelp hours are also wrong!

First time and last time here. Terrible customer service! My over $7 drink tasted terrible after the first sip and when I asked to get something else instead, they said no and wanted to charge for a new drink when the first one is disgusting. Never happened to me anywhere else even at Starbucks! Never coming back! Avoid and take your business elsewhere

The two gentlemen behind the counter were really nice and fun to talk to. I got a gelato mimosa and it wasn't that great. Especially for the price, it was 12$. They said the Prosecco was from Italy, it was good but the mango gelato was grainy and had little chunks in it. Didn't really have the best flavor with the mimosa. It really wasn't for me personally. I love gelato and mimosas but this just tasted like carbonated sorbet. Their desserts looked pretty good but I didn't get a chance to try them. The inside was cool, you could come and sit down and relax on your computer for a while and it's nice and peaceful. They said their gelato gets delivered daily and made fresh, so that's cool. The reason for the stars was because the prices of everything was really expensive, when we went they had only the last bits of ice cream and it was almost noon. They only had 4 flavors out of 16 I believe. Most of the trays were empty or had barley scoop left in them. I give the stars because the guys were really nice and the environment was really nice and relaxing.

Tres leches was really good. The Lemon Vanilla Tart (Tarta Nonna) didn't seem to have any lemon flavor coming through and was very doughy and underwhelming for me. The apple tarts looked amazing but the treats were spendy so only chose two to try.

Food is extraordinary, had the best Cheese Cake ever and a perfectly prepared expresso .The service is friendly and very pleasant. Parking is only in the street . During the Pandemic they remodel totally and feels welcoming and pleasant.

Enjoyed an affogato here. Tasted amazing, (although the gelato melted fast in the serving vessel it was in) staff was friendly, pastries looked delish but did not partake in those. -1 star for the exorbitant price of it! Nice for a one time treat but it about broke me. Nice place though.

Quaint coffee shop filled with sweet and savory pastries and fresh baked. Ranging from ham / cheese and quiches to blueberry/Nutella muffins! Vanilla lemon cream tarts! Did someone say coffee of the day....you can have an Americano with two shots of espresso, Latte or mocha! Friendly staff with a sense of humor. Made a great morning in SD!

The service is tremendous. My boyfriend and I were helped by a really nice gentleman! While I opted for the iced caramel latte, my boyfriend got the Iced Caramel Macchiato. Soooo good. My latte was super strong just like how I like it. I added some sugar but it definitely didn't need it. The coffee was great by itself. So delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone and come back in the future.

It’s a very small menu with sandwiches and salads, as well as coffee’s and desserts, but this is exactly what part of the neighborhood where you want to hang out, catch up, and enjoy some good food and drinks.
