Fantastic food and service! 🇮🇹
I had an Italian breakfast here and it was absolutely phenomenal. The food and quality were simply outstanding.
Francesco is genuinely friendly, kind, and welcoming, making the atmosphere so warm and inviting.
A definite must-try spot! Five stars!
Needed a spot to get some work done before a meeting near by.
$4 after tax and tip for a nicely made shot of espresso. Felt great enjoying it on the patio.

Reminds us very much of cafes in Italy. The espresso drinks and croissants are wonderful. We've come here the last couple times we've been in San Diego and highly recommend.

Love this place, may be some of the best ice cream in the area, they were very friendly and let us try every single flavor before we ordered. Pastries were exquisite.

Americanos are pretty basic, but the quality here is amazing. Where ever they source the beans for coffee here is absolutely delightful

Quiet corner in the Little Italy area. Gelato was truly awesome, so fresh! Quaint place that you can tell puts their heart into it.

Best quiche ever! Also the ice cream tasted amazing! Decent prices. The cafe is very small inside, but they have seating outside.

Papaleco is a true gem in the neighborhood! Their gelato is absolutely amazing — so creamy, flavorful, and authentic. You can really taste the quality in every scoop.
All of their paninis are perfect, with the freshest ingredients and just the right balance of flavors. I’ve also tried their toasted sandwiches, and they are just as delicious — warm, crispy, and satisfying.
The place has such a charming, local vibe. It’s the kind of spot that makes the whole neighborhood feel cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick treat or sitting down for a bite, Papaleco never disappoints.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area — it’s one of those places you’ll want to come back to again and again!

Cute little italian cafe with a great selection! I had the nutella croissant and nutella espresso drink (I totally forgot the name!). The croissant was so delicious, it might’ve been one of the best I’ve ever had. The drink was good as well, but I’m not the biggest fan of coffee (only nutella) that’s my fault though! The employees are so nice, I felt so welcomed! The place itself is nice but small.

The cannoli's here taste just like my Nana's canollis, recipe straight from Sicily 🤌🇮🇹🥹

We had the vegan panini, the ingredients were good but the tofu wasn’t seasoned so it was a little bland. Definitely add basil! Also had the gelato mimosa which was really good, they had lemon, mango and strawberry vegan gelato options. Would definitely come back, nice atmosphere and the presentation was 10/10!
