Nice small cafe with friendly staff. Delicious coffee. I just had the drip. Sadly the almond croissant was a big disappointment. Very dry. Day old??? Not what I expected from a cafe that has an amazing selection of cakes and other baked goods.
While visiting San Diego for the week, we stumbled upon Pappalecco in Kensington and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and wonderful service. They had a wide menu (including some tasty looking pizza and gelato), but we were loooking for a light lunch and settled on two gluten free paninis. The bread was so fresh and delicious we had to double check that it was really gluten free. The pollo panini and the Uovo panini were delicious. My husband tried the marocchino...
Beautiful pizza! This work of art is as tasty as it is pretty too. From the semolina, to the flour, and quality ingredients, the passion shows. Owners and staff are wonderful, and the gelato is also fantastic. Highly recommended to grab a pie and some wine, buon appetito!
