You and Service are great. The restaurant vibe was loud but energetic. My biggest stripe was there wasn't much of a choice for plant-based eaters in California has a lot of those! And, the food price is very high and so this place won't be a regular stop for us, unfortunately.

Wow! Just walking in, there's so many beautiful things to look at - the design of the restaurant, how it all flows beautifully together, the warm glow of the lighting, to the happy welcoming faces of the staff. Then when we were seated, we were greeted with careful attention to our requests, they gave my husband a handmade card for his birthday, and quickly brought us the most amazing cocktails. Which by the way, the cocktail menu is really cool, with one of a kind art. Our waitress Lindsey was a gem, and helped us sort out what items on the menu we could have - being gluten and diary intolerant. She made ordering with the exceptions easy, and made sure to take extra care to double check it all. When the food came out, we were blown away by the presentation, flavor profiles, and portion sizes. All exceeded our expectations!! I HIGHLY recommend you try this place. You'll be glad you did.

I don't even know where to start! The service, the food, the ambiance, everything was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was just perfect!! Warm, inviting, and full of great energy. Every detail was thoughtful, and it all came together to create a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to go back!

This is seriously our favorite restaurant. The menu is constantly changing, but there are some things that are must tries. Their homemade sourdough is the best bread that either my wife or I have ever had. And we've tried a lot, lol. Also, the honey ice cream sundae is epic. We've probably been 20 times, and every time we find some new surprise that we are convinced is the best thing ever... Only to be surpassed the next time we go. If they still have the Wagyu Salisbury steak... There are no words.

Hospitality at its best! The service is warm and inviting, as if I was invited into their home. Each server we came into contact with text said “Happy Birthday” to my son. This simple act sums up the attention to detail and expertise the front of the house shows every guest. The menu is full of exciting flavors and techniques. To get the most out of the cuisine, order a bunch of dishes and share them with family and friends. Each bite is a reward. Chef and team are truly exceptional at their craft. I recommend anyone reading this review to book a reservation immediately!

We asked for the sauce on the side and she said no. we ordered it anyway but it def made me feel sick. I guess they only take requests seriously if it's a dietary restriction but she didn't even offer to ask the chef for an accommodation on the dish.

attractive room with great ambiance and food. service is outstanding, including servers, bussers, hosts, and manager. don't miss potatoes 3 ways and Caesar and green salad. fun environment, always busy and high energy. nice play list. clientele very La Jolla, well put together, 25 to 60. if you're sensitive to noise level, this would not be a good choice.

The food and service were Superb. While the Mariachi Band was a nice touch, the music was very loud, and made it challenging to talk with our group.

Paradesea continues to amaze me. I literally go there once a week and each time is like a new experience with little tweaks to the menu and delicious flavors. I'm never bored of the food and never feel anything is lacking. The new chef is on fire right now, and I dream about their food. Definitely get the oysters and their steak tartare

Sitting at the airport awaiting our flight back to London, we are still savouring the Chef's Menu and wine pairing from last nights amazing meal at Paradisaea Bird Rock. What a mega food experience, delivered by an amazing team. I won't hesitate to book again on my return to La Jolla

A fantastic meal with a few stellar starters including the bread and caesar salad. The Chicken and Egg plant Ravioli dishes were great. The service was kind and authentic.
