I visited the restaurant last night and ordered the Beranzino fish, which typically comes with a salad. I requested to substitute the salad with a Caesar salad, and while they initially confirmed this was okay, I was surprised when the bill arrived. They charged me the full price of $30 for the Caesar salad instead of a small substitution fee. It would have been helpful if they had informed me of this upfront, as I would have preferred to order it separately. Additionally, we had to wait a long time, and they brought out a whole Caesar salad instead of the intended substitution. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially since the dessert we ordered also did not taste good. I expected better service and communication.

We had an amazing time last night celebrating with some very good friends my wife's birthday. I found the Service top notch in one of the best in San Diego. I've lived here for 30 years and I was very impressed.  We did the chef's choice which was absolutely exquisite, and although the portions seem small at the end of the day we were stuffed lol  Quality over quantity for sure.  Highly recommend this place. My only criticism would be maybe they can close the front door which is access to their patio service. It made the experience a little cold inside the restaurant.

We did the chef tasting menu with wine pairing. Each dish was perfectly prepared and so delicious. The wine pairing was the perfect complement to each course. The service was top notch.

We got the Chef's tasting menu for our anniversary dinner and every step of the way we felt like VIPs. Everything during our meal was perfect and special, from the handwritten place card, a complimentary glass of bubbly, and the perfect timing during the meal. The service was friendly and attentive and the food itself was inventive and perfectly cooked and presented. Every single dish was "wow". I can't stop thinking and talking about our experience. I can definitely see why there is Michelin star buzz about Paradisaea and it is well deserved.

Went for a chefs tasting menu. They were able to switch up according to out dietary preferences. Since my husband and i we don't eat raw meat. The 5 course meal was absolutely amazing. The head chef also came and served us the mains explained every detail :) it was a very good experience.

Great spot! Food and drinks are amazing and the staff couldn't be nicer. My son wants to be a chef and the manager was so kind and gave him a kitchen tour. We will definitly be back!

Overall great. We did the chef tasting. The service was excellent- our servers were Vanessa and Michael . Everything was prepared to perfection. The food was delicious again shout out to the service. It was amazing even the hostess were super friendly and attention to Details. I love that. We would definitely go back. We were there on a Thursday so it wasn't super crowded. It was a more casual vibe maybe because it was a Thursday not a Friday Saturday. Definitely docked points because they closed the bar for an event which is fine however, when they called to confirm the reservation, it would've been nice to have known that. We went early so we could get some drinks at the bar and that wasn't an option so that was a bummer. There was nothing on their Instagram stating that their bar was going to close early (4:45 during happy hour to add) for a social event. Posting on social media that would've been nice as well to announce the adjustments/ limitation.

Service has been impeccable. I'm thoroughly impressed with the staff, the design of the building, and, most importantly, the food. I hope to make this a regular spot for dinner with friends, as well as networking.

It was son good we ate there two nights in a row. The Mai-tai was one of the best I have ever had as was the Jalapeno Caesar salad.

We had the most knowledgeable waiter, loved the live music and the comic book drink menu really emphasized their commitment to the art of dining. Lovely spot can't wait to go back

We have been coming to Paradisea for years, but the pricing has become unreasonable. $15 for bread is unbelievable. The fries on the steak frites were overly salted. Loved the ambience of the live music. Service was quick and attentive.
