All of the staff at Parakeet is so kind and friendly. Their food is spectacular, and all of their in-house special syrups, almond milk, and breads are stunning. They have a delicious cold brew, and whenever I’m able to stop by in the morning, it makes my day. At night, I look forward to my mornings I get to spend at this wonderful cafe. We recently visited this cafe and had a great time! The place is cute and clean with both indoor and outdoor seating. We had the Belgian waffles and chilaquiles with chicken—both were great! The waffle was flavorful and not dry and the chocolate was perfect amount of sweet, and the chilaquiles had a really tasty salsa verde. We got cappuccinos and appreciated the dairy-free options like oat and almond milk. The server was friendly and attentive, even though the place was busy. Overall, a really good experience—we’d definitely come back.

Very poor service and doesn't have power. One staff is nice, saying "don't worry, please use the outlet on the other aide. It's fine!" The other staff scolds us out of fear that health services will shut them down...
The very least they could do for their contradictory poor service is offer something on the house to make up for their errors...makes me wonder what they're REALLY doing in the kitchen to be so afraid of health services and whether they're even paying their electric bills. Sketchy cafe

This is one of my favorite places in La Jolla great food and choice's for the whole family! All food is well sourced and amazing! The parakeet bowl is my absolute favorite with the salmon on top! Must go and must try!
I recommend everybody to go check it out you won't regret it there's a lot of them in Coronado Little Italy La Jolla and Del

I worked at parakeet for a year & a half and would urge both consumers & prospect employees to avoid this place at all cost. There are constantly roaches and everything is extremely overpriced & inconsistent. The owners & upper management (aside from Jonathan) do not care about the employees and foster a toxic work environment. I have been working in the food industry for 10 years and this was by far the worst, most dishonest, manipulative company I have ever worked for.
