Friendly and helpful staff, a lot of great options. We got the lavender matcha, salted maple latte w cold foam, latte, and matcha latte. For food we got the breakfast burrito, brekky croissant sandwich (added chipotle aioli and avocado so good) and the oatmeal. All were very tasty and good, excited to return to try out more food from the menu. The only thing to bring the rating down was the charcoal waffle. The first thing that stood out to me is the service. Roderick the manager was super attentive, kind and gracious when handling our order. He was very detail oriented with our order making sure there was nothing that we were allergic to in our meal. Taking that time and care is something that we have found to be super rare.

During my two-week visit to San Diego, I discovered a cafe called Parakeet while looking for somewhere within walking distance from my Hilton hotel.
