A beautiful place with exceptional appointments. I loved the cups and that I was given a steak knife unfortunately that was the only good thing that happened. My coffee was cold and weak for $4.00. My $17.00 poached eggs were too hard and should have been considered as hard boiled. Omelette sandwich had dried buns for $16.00 were hard. Extremely poor value for $74.88 for a couple coffee and egg breakfast. No English Muffins for eggs benny and no Carmel for coffee. Seems like for $74+ you'd be able to order that. Table was wobbly and didn't receive napkins from server until food showed up even though coffee served was spilled. Needed fly fans to get rid of annoying bugs during the meal. Not likely to go there again.
Too slow. One person ahead of me in line but it took 15 minutes to get an average acai bowl. Way too slow.
This had been my husband and my favorite place in San Diego to get a smoothie with reasonable prices and the delicious coco crunch smoothie. It was our special treat once a week. Unfortunately, a couple months ago they jacked their prices up to $15 per smoothie (a 40% increase). Absolutely not worth it to pay $30 plus tip for two smoothies. We have taken our business elsewhere. Unfortunately for Parakeet Juicery, they have lost two loyal customers with their huge price increase.
I ordered a 16 oz juice for $11 and it was soo tart. I didn't even finish it. I mean its not rocket science to make juice but if you are charging soo much money, you better make sure its great.
My experience with this smoothie joint was not very good. I'm not sure if you can blame the employees as it doesn't appear they received any training in customer service or how to make their drinks. First, for the cost of their smoothies you would expect at least a hint of customer service, like welcome in or thank you. $44.00 for 3 smoothies is what I paid, which is to be expected in Del Mar, but the price tag came with an attitude, average tasting smoothies and no service recovery. My drink, the Gaia didn't appear to be blended at all to be called a smoothie. It had several large chunks of ice in it and when I asked for it to be blended again, there was no, "sorry about that" or "I'll get that to you right away". I waited 10 more minutes on top of the 15 minutes it took to make the original smoothie. I guess they were unhappy with the 15% tip I gave them, which seems more and more as an entitlement these days then based on quality of goods and services. I really enjoy giving good reviews, but this place is overpriced, really bad customer service and their smoothie menu is pedestrian.
We used to come here weekly, but overnight they increased the price of their smoothies 40%. Two smoothies for $30 before tax or tip is simply a bad deal for anyone.
I went there two years ago and the girl working there (I think her name was Veronica?) was the nicest worker ever! She was so friendly and patient when I was wondering about the menu, she explained each superfood in detail and wrote a cute note on my drink! Go there! Hopefully she still works there!!!
I love the açaí bowl!!! So so good! Just like the ones in Brazil! Definitely give this spot a try if you’re looking for a healthy and yummy treat!
The vanilla sunset is sooooo delicious. Take out is seamless. The staff is friendly and professional

DELICIOUS!!!! Shroom chocolate protein was delicious. Super helpful service from Jillian. I would HIGHLY recommend and will be back thanks Jillian :)
Pretty good Acai bowls that are loaded with fruit. They are pricey, but something you would expect for One Paseo. Service was also quick, which was nice for brunch.
Best açaí bowl in San Diego amazing service and the workers are the nicest
The service was terrible. They were extremely rude and discriminatory. They also closed the doors at 4pm even though online and in the store it said they would be open till 5. Didn’t even greet us, didn’t say thank you or anything, didn’t speak to us at all expect for them telling us to wait outside for our drinks. Never again.
