The quality of the food is very good for the price, but here we don't allow you to sit and eat because there are no tables or chairs, so you can buy it and take it home to eat. Thai tea is okay here, but I'm not very satisfied with the tapioca pearls here, so I rate 4 star price.

Cheap Banh Mi. Seasoning is a bit soggy with mayonnaise. Lack of favor and love for the price.

The first thing that caught my attention was the fact that they open early. As someone who loves to start their day with a delicious breakfast, this was a major plus for me. Furthermore, the ample parking available made it easy for me to find a spot and not worry about parking meters or time limits. The bakery is on El Cajon, so it can get a bit difficult turning into their parking lot. It's located in a sketchy looking parking lot and it's an unusual spot for the homeless to hang out. The staff at Paris Bakery were extremely helpful. The variety of foods offered at Paris Bakery is impressive. From pastries to banh mi, they have it all. I must say, their fresh spring rolls were a standout for me. They were packed with flavor and were the perfect light snack. However, the real star of the show was their crispy pork belly banh mi. It was hands down the best I have ever had. The combination of the tender pork belly, crunchy vegetables, and tangy sauce was a match made in heaven. My only advice would be to eat it fresh, as it tends to lose its crispiness if left for too long. I also tried their pate chaud and it did not disappoint. The flaky pastry was filled with a delicious meat filling and it was the perfect savory option on the menu. And of course, no visit to a Vietnamese bakery is complete without trying their Vietnamese coffee, definitely recommend!

Omigod, banh mi at this place are terrible. They put tons of that pickle carrots stuff and hardly any meat. The BBQ meat is too damn sweet, I thought I was eating banh mi with candy, and it's almost $10 for the banh mi. To be honest I would never ever buy banh mi here again. I would rather have a carne asada burrito is way better than their banh mi. A Chau's banh mi is way better. I took 2 bites of banh mi at this place I have to throw it out...Yucky.

I always delivery this place from doordash. Not really a review guy but I love the Sausage and Egg Bahn Mi here so much this needs to be said. Thank you for being affordable and making it with love I will continue to order from here and stop by one day

Disappointing. Stopped in at 10 am because I was craving a pâté chaud but they were sold out. They open at 5am so I guess you have to get there really early. Looked around at all the different offerings, and ended up getting Đặc biệt / House Special #1 bánh mì. Way too much mayo! It was oozing out the sides with every bite- it was excessive to put so much in with a chicken salad/spread that already had mayo. There were 2 types of cold-cut- ham and chicken and a skimpy amount of flavorless pickled carrot and radish. The best part of all was the bread. Beware, the sandwich is $8! Yelp still has it listed for $3.75. Deceptive and definitely not worth the $8, when I could've gotten better right next door at A-chau (where I have been ordering for 17 years). Also terrible tiny parking lot full of homeless drunk looking men muttering endlessly and shouting at each other. Bad location with poor visibility. It gets three stars, because it was clean inside, the cashier was very friendly and courteous, and the bread was good. But that's not enough to ever bring me back to try the pâté chaud.

Authentic vibes, no silly business here. They sell so many foods here but we only tried some butter cookies and banh mi. Although there is a big sign saying cash only, they do accept venmo as well. I tried the house special and grilled pork banh mi. Both were good, tender meats. I just wish they had cucumber in them. The pate in the house special was nice. In San Diego, the pricing is competitive, just cannot compare it to OC where there are plenty of great banh mi shops for half the cost. The cookies were a letdown, too crunchy and not much flavor to them. I would return for the sandwiches and maybe try the che ba mau or desserts. Note that the parking lot is extremely tight and everyone parks past their lines.

Obviously some negative reviewers on here are unaware of the historical French influence on Vietnamese food. Just to be clear, Paris Bakery is a cash only Vietnamese shop, not a quaint little French Bistro for you to sit down and photograph your Parisian pastries. This place serves delicious authentic banh mi, Vietnamese coffee, market goods and a selection of fresh bread and pastries. Grab and go style. OG Vietnamese style. Forget Lee’s Sandwiches. Come here for a good banh mi.

love this mom and pops shop! They do only accept cash so keep that in mind. These sell other items beside banh mi , such as some Asian grocery store items like siracha and condensed milk as well as some desserts like che. Keep in mind there is no seating indoors and the parking lot is small so be prepare to eat in your car or take it go. As for service they were very quick with my order . I got the crispy pork sandwich and it was delicious . Honestly the best banh mi I've ever had. The meat is just SOOO good. Definitely check out this San Diego hidden gem .

The name of this bakery is confusing. There is nothing from France except Pains au chocolat processed... So disappointed ?

This place is amazing!! I love bahn Mis and I kept seeing this place and was dying to try it. The bahn mi was so delicious and the bread was perfectly crunchy. I also got some spring rolls that tasted so fresh and delicious. The people were also really nice. They also sell fresh egg rolls to cook at home so I'll definitely try those sometime and I will definitely be coming here often. I've tried a lot of bahn Mia in San Diego and so far this is my favorite!

I am a baguette lover and this one is really delicious!Meal No. 1The taste of mayonnaise is too strong. I don’t really like mayonnaise, so I don’t recommend this flavor?Meal No. 13The roast pork is delicious. There is a lot of pork and the taste is very good. You can taste the combination of pork and baguette in every bite! The side dishes are refreshing and flavorful, I love coriander? The parking space in front of the store is a bit crowded, but there is no parking space. It is particularly important to note that it only accepts cash or Zelle transfers. Fortunately, you brought cash, otherwise you may have missed the delicious food
