Visiting San diego and looking for Italian tonight.Ended up here Parma Cucina Italiana.Large choice of pastas with decent prices. They had Squid Ink pasta for tonight special which is hard to find at other places.Three of us ordered Squid ink pasta, Bolognese, and famous Lasagna. All foods were very good, excellent taste but not too heavy. Pasta was homemade and prepared as al dente. For dolce, Tiramisu, and lemon sorbet were both very good, probably also homemade and espresso and cappuccino were even served with warmed cups.Service was prompt, very friendly and cheerful. We had completely satisfied with full stomachs.Highly recommend Italian restaurant in San Diego.

First the young lady with curly hair and wears round glasses was the Sweetest kind person ever and Beautiful Italian ever I love Italians BUT the owner showed who he really is and is absolutely Disgraceful and shouldn't be able to own this business in America when he says F-the Constitution to someone filming the outside of his place and tried to fight because of it and calling out horrible names to him and didn't care about his or anyone else's business or a review SO here is your review you should be ashamed of yourself and Thank God America welcomed you here to open a business but there is absolutely no way could I support such a business and I hope everyone else boycotts your place to learn a lesson who you think you are is disgraceful maybe you should think about it you stayed in Italy and someone from out of state came to your place and treated you the way you treated this person filming only Trying to help your business I can guarantee you.Would have told him to get out and go back to where you're from you are just pathetic...PLEASE DON'T SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!

The owner of this restaurant was involved in an incident where he and the owner of the nutrients store next to this store assaulted a man who was recording on camera and they showed their true colors by calling the cops and claiming the guy recording attacked them - when they were the ones who actually went up to the guy recording, they approached him and they tried to take away his camera... They showed that they are willing to lie even when it is recorded on video.... DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN and be sure to record every interaction because his willingness to lie when recording shows what he is willing to do with no accountability.FYI... To the owner... Not only is it perfectly legal to record in public (everything your eyes can see, including by into windows!) but YOU YOURSELF has a camera outside ... You LEGALLY cannot record someone and then tell someone else that YOU YOURSELF ARE RECORDING that they cannot record back!

My friend and I were craving Italian food and actually tried to go to Esca blu, which is temporarily closed. We found this place on the same street and it was truly a blessing in disguise. This was some of the most delicious Italian food I've tried here in San Diego (no exaggeration)!! Making a reservation is super quick via yelp. We were seated right away. The restaurant itself is small making the overall ambiance intimate and cozy. There is also a small outdoor seating area. The servers were all so sweet and warm. We came on a Wednesday and it's 30% off a bottle of wine so we definitely had to indulge! I definitely recommend this place and I will be back in the future.Food review:The complimentary bread was so soft and delicious. We ordered 2 baskets. HahaPrimitiva wine: (5/5) This was recommended by our server and we were not disappointed. This was so delicious. We finished the entire bottle so fast.Burrata fiore di Parma: (5/5) The perfect blend of flavors. The cheese melted in your mouth and the prosciutto was delicious. I topped the cheese, prosciutto, and arugula on a slice of the complimentary bread. Yum!Lasagna: (5/5) They make their own lasagna in house. The sauce is amazing. This is some damn good food. It's interesting there were little carrots inside (I believe) which I've never had before but I didn't mind it. My plate was clean at the end of dinner.Tiramisu (5/5): (no pic because we devoured it) This is a well balanced dessert. It didn't have a strong coffee flavor like some others I've tried. It was light and super flavorful. We asked for some chocolate drizzle on top and it was delightful!

Review is based on the owners ability to listen and deescalate a situation which led to a friendly resolution.
